Great information man i have a question my friend i am building a 2jz ge vvti na-t for my 300zx with gte internals and i already buy the gte oil pump but a lot people say the gte oil pump dont work well on ge block so i want to know you opinion becouse i still have the ge oil pump that i can use also if the gte dont work for my setup thank you

Hi, I just had to fit a trigger kit to my sr20 and upon removing the camshaft bolt on exhaust cam, the chain skipped (only on that cam gear) 4 teeth. I have tried to fix it but my timing is till off. Doesn’t feel like it’s hitting any valves ( it sure how it would feel, but it rotates smoothly) it’s a newly built engine that’s never been run, is it an easy fix without taking the head off to get timing right?

It’s required to fill the oil cooler first. You never dry start an engine with no oil so if you didn’t do that the engine is cooked. Just saying.

i’m building a vvti ge. drilling the head used to scare me, i’d rather pull and swap the internals 😂
