It was a special day! Albertos parents got to see him drift for the first time. Everyone just enjoyed that day, it had rain every single day but we got lucky and got a sunny 4th of July!

Alberto!!!, I have a great video idea, can you put oobleck inside of a open differential and see if it turns it into a lsd? if you aren't familiar with oobleck, its a liquid that behaves like a solid under certain situations

Are you considering deleting power steering? I think a lot of people are having trouble finding a bullet proof power steering setup

It’s needed for drifting. The main problem is controlling pressure. With a lot of load on the steering and 8500 rpm it’s not going to last long. That’s why I’m getting a underdrive pulley to reduce the rpms at the pump

I feel like your gearing isnt right lately. You bang limiter in 2nd i feel like there should be a third gear there or a longer second. Just my opinion.

I think he’s just got a heavy foot. In comps, one of the areas you’re judged in is aggression so it’s not a bad thing. I do agree though that in videos sitting on the limiter can get a bit repetitive. I’d love to see a bit more precision with the accelerator.

I tried modulating the throttle a lot but my fix is changing differential ratio from 3.15 to 3.91 so I can run 3rd on the skid pad. I do go on the limiter a lot but not under a lot of load it’s maybe making like 10psi of boost or less at limiter. Next event will be trying out the 3.91 💪

9:38 to 10:01 you obviously aint a dikhead you just can't tell how fast he is going and how small of a course this is ..yea he can click up a gear but he whould have to left foot break and that will kill tires so fast because he will have so much more wheel speed but he won't be going any faster .I get what you mean at the FF .He needs to click up a gear . And did you watch till the end? He literally addresses his gear issue. And show he bought a 3.91diff

@@TM-jt3dd nah, seriously I can't tell beeing a DMEC announcer... ;) He is accelerating fast - yes ofcourse. He is moving in drift fast - certainly no. It is redline on 2nd with probably low 3,xx diff so with exact same speed (despite small difference in tire diameter) is moving every 328, 330i etc banging the revlimiter on 2nd. Couldn't stand torment till the end of the movie ;) Good that he mentioned it too. Bad, that 3-4 years after turboing this car ;)
