Tig welding is not easy. Mig welding will work just as well. If converting the flat car to passenger car I would recommend gmaw welding and stronger then both tig or mig.

It would be fascinating to take a scale train from one train meet to another like to this one. I bet the scenery looks nice.

Each engine or car is a work of art and skilled craftsmanship. Thanks to those who develop and display unique models like these for us to enjoy.

These are my favorite type of videos on your channel. They prove there is something for everyone in the hobby. So many varieties of engines from real steam to gasoline to battery powered. Something for every budget. The variety of the rolling stock is exponential. My bucket list includes owning one of these engines someday.......

Mine is too. Assuming I ever actually get around to making one and going to these conventions, I want to take it a step further and use these trains for commerical purposes. What I want to do in life with my prospective civil engineering degree. Too good of a technology to ignore.

Don't like the graphics...that's for cheaters.....paint masks are better
@TheSteamChannelАй бұрын
Well, when you build one you can finish it however you’d like. Those graphics will hold up ten times better than paint masking…and it would be absolutely foolish to risk paint runs on a finished body to use them.
