....Agh. Watching this 15 years since I made this...This didn't turn out anywhere near as well as I'd have liked. All because of the crappy movie that was all I could use for footage. Unfortunately, it still remains so. But if they ever make a book-faithful movie or tv series where they write and portray Lestat and Marius right, I will absolutely remake this fan video. Still, I do really appreciate and am grateful that people have liked this video and apparently continue watching and liking. As I remember working hard on this.

Yeah but In the sequel they spend a night in a cave (you can see parts of it towards the end of this video) and the way it is made it is strongly hinted that /something/ happens between them. They don't show anything, but I'd say they at least definately kissed that night.

Hello from Denmark. i watched this movie all the time when i was a kid and i found it again recently, with some other old movies, it really brings back a lot of good memories.

Tom Cruise was BY FAR the better Lestat. Why is this mixed? I'm a HUGE Aaliyah fan, but won't hold back: Queen of the Damned was aweful! 👎

I agree, but I blame the script not the actor. I mixed instead of using just Interview clips because I prefer Stuart Townsend's outside appearance for Lestat. (Really the only flaw is that his hair and eye colours are wrong but those don't really matter to me.)

Finally real people. I can't understand why people ship Jesse with Lestat. She's very dumb even for her job. I understand her character and his own and so on.. but I can not understand how people can call her a great character when she's done the worst choices throughout the movie. People saying they're in love but really can not see that his "longing gaze" on her was trying to see what the fuck this tiny human being knew. Her gaze already says "your so gorgeous I can't look away " and really she can't. She looked hypnotized. Second she wants to become one too and Lestat's gaze there can tell you "after every warning you still want to be like me?" You can really tell she's trying to play it smart but that first scene or every scene between them tells me she's just horny. I can not understand why people think she's a good character.

Yep. Nice that people are still watching these. I have several other Lestat/Jesse Anti-Fan videos and an Anti-Fan Site called "Never Yours" which I haven't updated in over a decade and probably won't but I hope people still find it worth reading.

Thank you. And yep, I wish more people found these movies. And I mean the original ones and not the dubbed and butchered versions that are the US dvd releases. I mean not only did they dub it horribly but they literally messed with the editing. So disrespectful towards the movie's creators and ruined the movie experience.

Lovely video! Vincent Perez is really superb actor. Queen Margor , Indochine , Cyrano de Bergerac, The Crow: City of Angels.. he is always amazing. With his classical trainig from the conservatoire de Paris, he can act anything including Shakespeare on stage. Plus no wonder he was voted amog top most beautiful people of the planet. Still very smart and humble man.

Me too, but this barely scratches the surface of the depths of emotions one would feel when reading the book. Personally I haven't been able to read it more than once, even though I've been lucky to not have a loved one abducted or otherwise disappear for years. It's still simply too well written and too painful a subject matter. I can't imagine people who have actually lost someone like this (and not found them alive or dead) being able to read it at all. So I'm glad this movie isn't as intense so they may be able to enjoy the movie and get some sense of hope from its happy ending.
