To be baptized, a person must have awareness of his sins and his need for a Savior, repenting of his actions (Acts 2:36-38; Rom. 3:23; 6:23). He must hear the word of God (Matt. 28:18-20; Rom. 1:16; 10:14-17) and believe its testimony that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God (John 20:30-31, Mark 16:16) who died on the cross and was raised from the dead to provide redemption for mankind (John 3:16; Rom. 5:6-10). He must confess this belief publicly (Rom. 10:9, Acts 8:26-40). A baby is incapable of doing these things. A baby taken by his parents to be baptized is not a Christian baby, just a wet baby. An actual baptism has not occurred. Baptizing a baby with the notion of making it a child of God reduces baptism to nothing more than a work. Mere works absent of faith cannot save. Moreover, it is a work performed on an individual by a third party, without his consent, or even his knowledge.

One Gospel: The Gospel of Reconciliation. Jesus Christ came into THEIR kingdom to reconcile fallen angels unto Himself. We are the fallen angels (ELOHIM) kept in DNA chains of darkness. If you do not confess being a fallen angel in Lucifer's kingdom, then you are an unbeliever. Unbeliever = those that claim to be made in the image of ELOHIM(gods). REPENT FALLEN ANGELS.

There is a theological misconception that many proponents of proper sexual order suffer from holding. This misconception is displayed in their selection of a word to describe each sex’s designed conduct. The word they use to do this is “role.” Now the use of the word “role” to describe the God who is three persons is an abominable modalistic heresy, but it is no less detestable when it is used to describe man who was created in two sexes. The godly do not assume roles as they conduct their biological design since all aspects of their being and behavior both the male and female are comprehended in God’s design and are ideally fulfilled in Christ. The theology of the Scriptures both Law and Gospel comprehend, informs and enforces this biological and behavioral designed conduct. It is important for us to understand that much of Scripture is taken from the conduct of people, male and female, both good and bad and that those people’s sex-specific conduct expressed God’s Word before it became the written Word. It should not seem a strange concept that God’s mind was revealed (done) in spirit, rock and the flesh of saints and sinners, both male and female, before it was written down by inspired holy men of old. It needed to be written though, because since the fall man has had a sin benighted ethical perception of the creation. It needed to be written because all men were not able to look over God’s shoulder as He wrote His glory with the creation, and all but two people could not witness the fall and disordering of the sexes, nor could most people from the past and most certainly those of the present and future view the male and female saints of God as He wrote His salvation narrative in their flesh and sex-specific conduct which eventually culminated in the flesh and sex-specific conduct of His incarnate Son. Naturally, as previously referenced, because of sin and without the written Word, men's and women’s ethical perception cannot from what was created, rightly see their sexual place and conduct as fully and clearly as it is shown in Ephesians 5:22-33. As this passage shows, a man’s designed male conduct is to be Christ-like and a woman’s designed female conduct is to be Church-like. This sex-specific behavior is not beyond man’s designed conduct, but without the informing and transforming power of God’s written Word it is beyond man’s ethical understanding and ability to perform. Without God’s written Word clearly informing of this and other positive and negative spiritual and sexual conduct illustrations throughout Scripture, then salvation would not have a divine and human framework. As it is, this framework is itself framed by two spiritual and sexual events. The first is the creation in the garden of the woman from the son of God’s side and the other is the creation on Golgotha of the Bride from the Son of God’s side. In these two events, we have the theology/biology of salvation. The Gospel (although obscured because of sin) can be seen by reference to Scripture in man’s biological design -- a biology which by nature gives rise to a paralleled sexual with salvation order most fully expressed in the marital union of the sexes. Illustrations of this biological design and its violation Christ most certainly uses throughout Scripture to reveal Himself. If the word “role” is used at all to describe man, it should be used only to describe the pretences of those who pretend marriage by fornication, love with lust, good with evil, truth with lies, and spirituality by the worship of demons. Man outside of Christ plays many roles leading to eternal death, but man in Christ plays not but fulfills his designed place and conduct to display the Gospel of Jesus Christ leading to eternal life.

Evidence of salvation: that we are in Him and He in us. Signs/seals 1)The sign of righteousness by faith = a forgiving circumsized heart. *child likeness. A disposition that calls on God as a loving father. 2)rest = sign of faith and trust 3)charity = bond of perfection. Loving others 4)tongues = sign for believers of the Holy Spirit indwelling. Covenant simplified Mercy(faith) and truth(sincerity) upholds the covenant and charity(love) is the bond of perfection. Covenant/love needs 2 people and God. The Holy Spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God. For covenant we only need us and Christ and God fills us with Love. Charity comes when we love another and God fills us with love for on another…..wherever 2 are gathered in my name I am with them. If we break mercy(judging others sins) or truth(hiding our sins;lying) we lose fellowship and do not walk in love bc God will not honor it. We walk in darkness until we confess and forsake our unforgiveness and lies. Perfect law of liberty: But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. The law is forgive; be honest and love everyone without respect of persons and we will be free from darkness. Satan cannot touch us.

Can anyone help me understand the hate John Piper has for a single man? A man so offensive that he said “Christians communicate a falsehood to unbelievers…when we act as if policies and laws that protect life and freedom are more precious than being a certain kind of person”? Does anybody out there realize what Piper is saying? He is saying that life itself must take a back seat to being anti-Trump! And certainly not Piper’s life. Piper was referring to the lives of the millions of children in the very womb of their mothers. Lives that he thinks are disposable as long as Trump is hated. I simply cannot even begin to grasp the hate that resides in his soul, or his popularity.

There's a lecture on my channel by Donald Macleod on Thomas Chalmers. There's also a sermon on The Free Offer of the Gospel which summarises the Marrow Controversy (mentioned recently elsewhere). The playlist is called "1999-200 Makers of the Scottish Church" If in doubt start with the Free Offer. There are captions for those, including other Scots, who might think his accent unintelligible.

This is different from Reformed Theology. It isn't a "covenant of life/creation" but a "covenant of works" and that covenant, technically, wasn't by grace. That is why the new covenant is the "covenant of grace." Also, the covenant of grace doesn't include the covenant of works. This teaching is dangerously coming close to rejecting salvation by faith alone. To quote the Westminster Confession, 7.2-3 - "The first covenant made with man was a covenant of works, wherein life was promised to Adam; and in him to his posterity, upon condition of perfect and personal obedience. Man, by his fall, having made himself incapable of life by that covenant, the Lord was pleased to make a second, commonly called the covenant of grace; wherein He freely offereth unto sinners life and salvation by Jesus Christ; requiring of them faith in Him, that they may be saved, and promising to give unto all those that are ordained unto eternal life His Holy Spirit, to make them willing, and able to believe."

For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. the simplicity that is in Christ even allows for less educated folks to even edify one another and grow on the spirit

As a catholic, I've learnt that a sin has only been committed if the person previously understood such action as a sin. When talking to really small children that still can't understand complex explanations, isn't it fair to simply look at them in the eye and say "you don't yet understand, so you need to trust mommy and don't do this again"? My parents have never beaten me, but whenever I saw them disappointed about something I did it would teach me a lesson way harder than any rod would. Couldn't this be a non-literal way to understand the validation of child correction in the Bible? Afterall, repent generates physical pain in the heart without the need of any level of spanking.

If a parent or parents were severely abusive and there is no acknowledgement of sin whatsoever, then..? It would seem like honoring positive qualities would be severely hypocritical. I.e the parent physically abused someone as a child and locked them in closets but were very hospitable to others... But what would honoring look like in such cases?
