I have a question, I don't see you set up System Clock, how do you know it's 72MHz and you use it to set up timer

I got an error that said "Required input file from generator STM32CubeMX". Should I install CubeMX to resolve this issue? Seems like you didn't do it and it all seems fine. Please help. Thanks.

Thanks for wonderful lesson. In Github I saw the SD Card Read Write SPI but nothing in main.c. Have it not completed?

Good example of why it takes 5 times longer to program STM processors than Arduino. Layers and layers of abstraction just to turn an output pin on.

So great and underrated content. In this series I find a in depth learning of the MCUs and now I can use high level libraries while knowing what's going on underneath. I wish our tutor at university taught the micros this good.

Nice. I met the same issue before. At first, I thought the MCUs were spoilt and, luckily, did not throw them away. Later I tried to access the same MCU with ST-Link Utility and clean the chip. It works again in Keil. Another way I tried to flash the MCU was by using the serial port (UART1). Again, the ST-Link debugger works after I re-flash the chip.

512MB of RAM and 1.0GHz… how did you manage to mess up both of those 😭😭

Phew!! managed to wrap my head around this, just barely, that siwtching from binary to hex didnt help hehe but i made it! I asked chatgtp to blink the light and it gave the same code, but used macros instead of calculating the bit shifs like (>>14) It had conveient names for the specific pin locations to hide that operation. Which was nice and conveneit way to hide the dirty work after you already know whats going on but didnt help when you didnt know whats going on so i appreciate you not using those macros and showing us how to get to those bits. It also didnt know the onboard LED must be driven low to turn on so i didnt get my light to blink until i had it toggle with the xor operator. Since it just switches it to the opposite, making sure the light turns on and off. But I was still mystified why regular bit setting code didnt turn it on, now i know! Has to be driven low. As great as chatgtp is -it can take you 99.9% of the way there, to get 100% there you still need a real human. Thanks.

first like to thank you for this incredible tutorial .i wanted to point out something that really annoyed me a lot .sometimes i have no clue what are you talking about since your mouse courser is invisible.
@clubpasser1234543213 ай бұрын
Your previous videos in the series were perfect. This video changed to just explaining code and jumping around an already written file. Much harder to follow along and I can't sync up the code I've been writing with yours. I can copy the finished functions from github but I can't just follow along and create with you. So frustrating that you changed methodoloy in your tutorials. Thanks anyway though.
