Can you recommend accommodation the route. I’m local to the start but I’d like to do a through hike stopping along the way . Looks a great trail- also what made you choose this version over the other
@WinchcombeWanderer13 күн бұрын
@snowberry1211 I only stayed in accommodation on the first night (Crown Hotel in Droitwich) which was ok for my needs. On night 2 & 3 I travelled home (2, from Pershore railway station. 3, by car). If the legend is true, the route taken by the cortege is unknown. But my guess is it would be as direct as it could be. The 'Trail' winds it's way to Winchcombe especially the loop at the end. It also has a long section which follows the Worcester Birmingham Canal, which would not have been there (even if Tardebigge Locks look worth visiting). The 'Way' is more direct and passes what I considered to be more interesting countryside and places. I'm sure which every route you pick, it will be an interesting walk. Hope this helps, atb Simon
