Sounds like a plan Simon. LEJOG in one go has never really interested me but I have walked the whole of the SWCP including Land's End and have walked two routes across Wales south to north. I've also done the Pennine Way Southern Upland Way, West Highland way, Great Glen and this September I'm hopefully walking from Glasgow or Ft William to John o' Groats so I would need only a few small connection routes to string it all together! Good luck on your challenge, mate 👍🍺😎

@snowymatrix thanks Snowy. There are some great paths that you could join up what you have walked already, if you want to. Your Scotland trip sounds interesting, I was planning on doing the WHW at the beginning of this year but the weather was so bad I didn't go ☹️, walked the North Worcestershire Path instead. Enjoy Scotland, atb Simon

@simonjanssen5326 Hi there, an endeavour I'm looking forward to. I've never walked in Scotland before, so I'm really looking forward to those Long Distance Paths. Thanks for watching, atb Simon

Well I missed this one Simon, so I wish you all the best . I too have a little ambition to complete it too so bar a little bit between Glasgow and Edinburgh and a couple of days here and there I have got as far as Stow on the wolds. I’ve gone a bit flat on inspiration at the moment but I’m sure that will re ignite at some point. 🙏👍🍻😊

Hi Dave, you are doing well and well over half way. I'm going to use the Forth & Clyde / Union Canal Towpath between Glasgow & Edinburgh. Good luck with the rest of the challenge, atb Simon

It's tempting but I've never got around to it. The best I could do last year was to sit in my armchair and follow 'Ellie Hikes' with her little dog Otto walk from Dunnet Head to Lizard Point, This was my breakfast treat as I munch my muesli.

Hi Reg, I guess it's not something everyone fancies doing. Thanks for watching and commenting, atb Simon

I've completed 720 miles so far (Aug 1985 to Sept 2024). All in England atm but planning at least one trip to Scotland next year.
