What brand liquid nitrogen are you using? And can I buy it at tractor supply?
@zuccaribrosfarm4443 Жыл бұрын
Can’t but at tractor supply, and not brand, just liquid we don’t use normal nitrogen, this is very turned up,not like garden nitrogen, for farmers and is mixed with sulfur.

It was our cow barn back in the day. When it was built in the 40s people said “what are you gonna do with stales that big are you putting elephants in there”. Been told many stories about the hay loft and found some really old pictures of my grandpa (1945- 2019) when he must have been 13-18 loading the manure spreader and sweeping the floor.

I ran an original Haro-Bed; no cab in 1968. I got paid .03 cents a bale and I could stack 4000 bales a day. Dad did custom hay work in Eastern Washington putting up 1000 acrers of hay for a farmer four times a year. Sister did the swathing with an 880 John Deere, Dad, Mom and brother ran three JD 214 W balers and I ran the stacker. This video brought back good memories.

I've ran a 348 for 7 years after running NH for years. After you get it figured out the 348 is a great baler. As mentioned above, need to run thicker winrows or faster ground speed on the 348.
@kennethheern4896 Жыл бұрын
That goes for both balers. Neither one are being fed enough hay. That new holland sounds like the hay dog cushions are worn out.
@jaapbruijn1300 Жыл бұрын
That‘s what I thpught as well. I worked with those balers a lot. You can hear it on the pickup! When you feed it properly it can make a lot of bales in a very short time. And the bales are much firmer as well!

Cool vid lad Well what you think of the JD baler?? NH or JD best ?? 🤔🤔
@zuccaribrosfarm44432 жыл бұрын
NH is heavy duty, a lot stronger than JD. However the NH is newer by a couple years and the JD is always reliable as we had 2 before our new hollands.
@zuccaribrosfarm44432 жыл бұрын
I would say NH for our operation. JD still is great but we need a heavier bailer. (We like our Jd combine 9550 and 25 foot drill)

The 5070 can handle going faster in those windrows.. But might have to adjust your bale length bc they will get longer.
@zuccaribrosfarm44432 жыл бұрын
Yes. If you make the bales to long the machine won’t pick them up or won’t pick them up correctly. This might make the stack fall.

what is this tank in the back of baler ?
