The video shows wrong perspective towards EE. EE is not just wires & power systems. Infact, EE guys can do Computer Engg, Electronics, Communication, Signal Processing, Antenna Systems, Software, Microelectronics, more specialised topics like PCB design, VLSI, computational lithography nanotech for chips etc. Basically what ECE and CSE guys can do combined! (Im majoring in EE & DA+ML)

First of all, the ECE and EE branch is not everyone's cup of tea. It takes a lot of self-motivation, hard work, and passion to excel in this field. It's not like CS or IT branches that anyone can do. Excelling circuital Branches takes a lot of imagination, visualizing things that we can't see. In CS even if the student is very less skilled there is a chance of employability. but in EE and ECE one needs to be very Intellegent in his field, has learned all the concepts, to be employable. and remember when you percchase a device its software can be updated remotely but its hardware can not be upgraded. that's why when an organisation hires a EE / ECE branch student, they wants the best of the best.

My personal advice is don't take ECE. There are fewer job opportunities for ECE in their own domain. Only you should take ECE if you want an IT job but didn't get CSE. Mind it, that's also going to be very challenging since the syllabus is huge and subjects are difficult, so putting separate effort into coding/IT would be hard. Also being an ECE student NITA, many core companies don't even allow ece student to sit for their drive. take EE its the best evergreen branch every core companies recruit them and even in IT it gets almost equivalent opportunities like ECE.
