You'd want to change the name or description field on the journal item. I'd concatenate it with the original value.

You should be able to. If you don't see the view and you can get into studio, you can just go into studio and activate it. What are you wanting to summarize?

So groups don't work too well for this, at least not in my experience. From what I've seen, the upgrade script takes care of this for the most part. It's only a problem in new databases.

Hmmm...so basically you don't want the quotation portion to show, yes? I could see a way to do this. Basically you would inherit the quotation (middle portion) and make it blank.

This requires backend work with an app. The view itself is not available to edit on the front end, I'm sorry.

@@odoo-it-yourself Sorry, I should have been more specific. I'm speaking about the way that studio views are created when editing reports. In Odoo 17, once you changed something in a report in a studio, Odoo created a studio tagged inherited view which was a copy of the whole report. This made it really easy to edit the code and change things that couldn't be done in the studio front-end. In Odoo 18, the created inherited view only contains an x-path to the specific location the change was made. This is much cleaner code-wise because the inherited view only contains the changes that were made, but makes it more difficult to edit reports via the code because you have to define new x-paths for every change that is made.

What are you hoping to see with that one? I didn't like theirs as much.

You're welcome! Yeah, that one can be kind of weird. You want to be in developer mode. Then you want to click in the body to bring up the formatting bar and you'll see a button at the end with </> on it. Click that.

Created analytic plan named simulation and 2025WC and 2025BC as analytic account for management to show best and worst case scenarios in P&l
