The car is so cool but it’s not configured for family with children 🙁 This is mostly a car for businessmen. It’s a shame especially when they have 2 models.

The e class buyers in Malaysia has no taste. They buy because of the 3 pointed star. This is why they prefer the big star at the front. It really looks like the lorry balak from the 80s. But OKB and New Money millionaires tahu apa kan?

What is so great about the 3 pointed star? That is the old Chinaman thinking when those days majority of Merc buyers are contractors with their popular 240D. Merc hardly care about their customers' preference. They design their cars with the same old design maybe a little bit changes here and there. Now the blue and white roundel is more prestigious.

Will wait for a used one. This depreciates like a dog on heat. Great car but no resale value. Will buy at 70% off later. Great safe car on highway… nothing beats a Mercedes..

Merc hardly changed their design not as innovative and bold like BMW. Merc more for old man's car. The worse is they never bothered about the complaint of them using fake exhaust design which gave such a cheap visual. Merc is losing out to BMW in terms of sales

Benz in Australia are labelled as endless money pits as they depreciate like crazy due to the poor mechanical reliability, electrical gremlins & both poor material quality in the interior + exterior

these cars today does not justify the prices, quality and reliabilty is poor due to low grade components..even the chinese ev's are better built with much better specifications..hence the huge drops is sales of these German brands globally...they are running out of status concious brand snobs to sell to..lol

To me basic point # 1 : MUST have upright standing star, otherwise no meaning if a bonneted Mercedes-Benz without standing star ridiculous because upright star IS the Mercedes-Benz tradition which has no business to be removed ?! That's also why good to note they (finally) put back the upright star in the later edition EQS or even V-Class ! These E350e is it using 6-cylinder engine ? If only 4-cylinder then the refinement 'standard' tends to be inferior levels..won't tend to be too basically different from even the base model E200 ?!

Because BMW adapts to a more basic conventional approach in their latest fleet of vehicles, not much complex high-tech gizmos like Mercedes-Benz & Audi , Just like a Toyota . Suitable for the working class, Hence why boosting sales rapidly.

They don't want to compromise on quality and prefer to CBU (MB and BMW will launch CBU and then CKD), unfortunately for them they are not Lexus so they not going to sell like Toyotas 😅

Audi are used to be CKD but due to poor demand and problematic to maintain the local franchises closed down and now there is a new dealership but mainly on CBU units because there is not enough volume for CKD program. Being CBU is very expensive which does not give value for money. Therefore Audi is pretty much out of the local market scene.
