Underrated artist,great tune and he has so many more.

I've never understood: he seems to be two ages in this. 1977 Peter Gabriel with the blue shirt and shaggy hair and the slightly older Peter from about 1990. Did they reissue the single? Why did they splice two videos together? This is still really great but there must be an original promo from 1977 out there somewhere...

My Grandfather was a World War II Veteran. He was a Canadian member of The First Special Service Force. He wasn't at Normandy but he was in Rome when they liberated it than the next day D-day in Normandy happened. Terrible what happened on Juno Beach when the Canadians landed there but they say they pushed further in than the Americans and Juno was one of the most heavily defended beaches on the Normandy coast. That being said I'm not taking anything away from what The British did at Gold and Sword or what the Americans did at Utah and Omaha. They all paid a great cost. Thank you Veterans 🇨🇦 🇺🇸.🇬🇧

Thanks for uploading this version. I think it’s practically the same as the single version, but it lacks the second section of the lyrics, am I right? It’s a pity, I love it when he sings “my friends would think I was a nut”, I always remember his face in the rockpalast concert when he sings that line.
