Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Excellent instructional video! You have clearly explained what I have been being taught for months as a white belt! It just takes so long and so much practice, to remember all the moves in real time, and to make them work. Fortunately, it’s slowly coming together!

That's a great way to explain the effects! I'm a huge fan of this stuff. This stuff doesn't do anything if you take it without working out, but it'll keep you from gassing out when you normally do in bursty cardio type sports like bjj and mountain biking. I've found the same effects from beet root juice (obviously) and also l-arginine. I read that taking it with vitamin C makes l-arginine more bioavailable so I add that.

Nice video. I'd love to see more videos like this that discuss other ways to improve your BJJ besides techniques, likes like supplements and mental tips.

Wow! Try beetroot powder and maca root powder mixed with either coffee or Chai tea. And if you are feeling really dangerous. Mixup some BCAAS and creatine. It's my secret juice and I 100 percent agree with you on the beet root powder! Love your videos!

I have a wrestling background. So every time I sprawl on a takedown during nogi, I cradle or take the back, even when I have the chin in my hand. I just don’t want to give up top position.

I have a question about recovery. I have been experiencing pain in my neck, particularly somewhere around the C1 to C7 vertebrae, as well as in my upper back, specifically from T2 to T4 or maybe to T5. This pain initially began 9 months ago after I was stacked aggressively during a roll. I thought it was just my T2, but the pain resurfaced last week and is affecting me again. Now, I can feel discomfort somewhere in the C1 to C7 region, and clearly for my upper back in T2 to T4/T5. I am looking for guidance on how to recover.

Also the best part about this Pass option is that even if you end up in a leg entanglement, (half guard, closed guard etc) you can still use the Kimura grip to roll yourself through to their trapped side. Remember, the Kimura grip takes a hand away from them, and all they can do is hold your entire body with their one hand on the opposite side as you’re using gravity to complete the roll-through
@Kuroyamitv
@Kuroyamitv Ай бұрын
😂😂 for those saying it’s “complicated”. It’s really not, and yes it works. The Rolling Kimura Pass starts with a wrist grip, then you step inside of your opponent’s legs/guard. If they respond to the wrist grip, that’s fine, because you’re on the outside of their guard, so it’ll allow you to reset. If you get the grip and step inside, you force the roll because even if the opponent can react in time, they have to address the Kimura grip first as it’s a powerful control grip. Going into the triangle is part of a system called the “T-Kimura System”. It’s very strong.

The face is super exposed when you initiate the Dela Riva square to opponent, perhaps getting the opponent off balance before would prevent getting ktfo. Seems great otherwise once you're sideways

I think your also missing the wrist lock when they put their hand flat on your chest it’s not a very damaging lock but you can really easily get compliance from anyone by taking both hands turning the palm towards them and rotating the wrist towards the outside of the body, if you do this regardless you will ensure your partner will not feel safe just pinning you down and will start trying to smoother or put the hands on the outside of the body to keep them outside of your chest where the lock is possible. It will always lead to the person turning their shoulder into you to relieve the pressure either giving back or sweep.
