IMO wonders that give you extra policy slots, Kilwa (if 2x city-state type suze), and Estadio are all S-tier. Casa is up there too for promoting a gov to buy districts or puppeteer a key city-state. I’ll build others for extra era score or if it drastically improves yields in my empire (or a key city). Venetian arsenal is ridiculously good for pumping out fleets. It takes a compelling proposal for my internal head’s planning board to pass any land use project. Breathtaking preserves always get priority and I will rush another city to avoid using a tile.

Estadio is A-Tier if you are on conquering spree and your ultra-wide empire is rowdy. The extra amenities go a long way. Great lighthouse is A-Tier on a tiny islands map because it allows your units to escape sticky situations, or get to their destination ever so slightly faster. Kilwa is GOD tier with enough (and worthwhile) city states.

I get the feeling you lads play multiplayer, and nobody goes for a culture victory because someone else nukes them if they get close. #amIright?

Hey man. I love your videos but a little disclaimer. I would advice against taking any sponsoring deals from instant gaming. It's a very shady website. I got hacked on that site and quite a bit of money was stolen. The support is shit and their prices are not necessarily the cheapest. So yeah. You prob shouldn't advertise them. But that's up to you.

Hanging Gardens is either useless or S tier. For civs that want high pop like Eleanor, that new china civ, and Kmer, it's great. I disagree about the great bath. It just comes down to playstyle. If you don't care about appeal and just want high adj yields, it's counterproductive. If you want to play an appeal focused culture victory, it's S tier. On top of that it's one of those wonders that is either going to built early on, or never built by the AI. It's fairly easy to build in the early game.

I am enjoying listening to the analysis from competitive players, but at the same time, this reminds me why I don’t want to get into civ competitively or play optimized gameplay. I want to build golden gate because it’s cool, whether the effects are good or not. Also, the fact that you’ll have to extract all natural resources and there won’t be cattle left by the time Great Zimbabwe comes around is just sad. I’ll stick to Prince and king where I can survive without hyperexploiting my natural resources, thank you very much :p

I disagree with Petra. I'm always looking to settle some desert tile with lots of nearby hills. The AI never goes for it and the resulting city is great. I also disagree with Hagia Sophia. If you are going for a religious victory it makes your prophets and missionaries 33% more efficient. It's a killer combo with with boost you can get where your apostles are 25% cheaper. Overall with these two you get approximately half price religious units. Of course it's situational, which means it's somewhere in the middle, definitely not dog shit. Otherwise, agree with everything. There are so many late game wonders which are just useless.
