He performed with Tompall and The Glaser Brothers. In 1984, George Strait returned to the Austin City Limits stage during Season 9, where he performed with country duo The Kendalls. In 1986, George Strait returned to the Austin City Limits stage for the third time in Season 11. This time he was paired with Dwight Yoakam.
