I liked what you said and how you said it at the end of this video. Nothing wrong with supporting local businesses who rely on the trail for their lively hood. As for a group ride, I always ride when I am in the area, (I'm from Pittsburgh PA) for the Bristol NASCAR races. Hard to get down there any other time.. If you do a ride on the weekend of April 12th., I will be in town for the race, and I plan on riding. I always use the Adventure Damascus & Sundog Outfitter to get me up to the top of the mountain so I can ride back. Ridden the Creeper trail 6 or 7 times, and it's a great ride! I was so sad to see the trail is destroyed. gla to see the old store at Green cove survived. Love to stop there and relax a bit. i grew up in the grocery business, and that is like old home week for me. Good luck with your group ride, and if it is on April 12th, I will see you then! If you ever want to ride some of the GAP in the Pittsburgh PA area, let me know!
