Looking online for the main heat exchanger assembly seems they come without the left and right bottom feed pipes - just wondering how you the old ones were swapped to a new heat exchnager...
@snapgas983222 күн бұрын
Hi mate, yeah the heat exchanger will just come literally as that, With regards to how they refit back in after I normally would order up new seals for them bits and grease them up Failing that I would just really grease them up and see how it goes

Hello mate, I was lead to be believe we need a separate ticket to investigate a CO being activated CMDDA1. ?

Hello mate, I will look into this now. I’ve been to plenty for British Gas, would get them weekly

Ya left shitish gas pal
@lemmykilmister45025 күн бұрын
It's true, you're supposed to be qualified to do a proper assessment. I get them every so often (social housing), I "check out" the appliances, change the CO alarm. And give them ventilation / evacuation instructions and fuck off. It's always been faulty alarms, but sending untrained people is a cop out.
@garethmccarthy428024 күн бұрын
I had this last week, if you follow the chart in igem11 it says if you are happy to turn back on do so but if not escalate to someone with CMDDA1.. in December gas safety mag there is a question asking if you need cmdda1 to investigate an alarm, their reply says no.

I saw your videos, your video quality is good but not properly SEO. Your SEO score is very poor. That's why your channel is not growing organically. SEO means Search Engine Optimization. I think you understand, for views, subscribers, and comments your video should be ranked on top of KZbin, Proper SEO that means keyword session ( low competitor keyword selection) can help your channel to rank on the top. Thank You

Ok thanks for that, not sure what all that means but appreciate your comment

@snapgas9832Ай бұрын
It could do as they have the square type of heat exchanger, I had it on an old cdi the gasket at the front had gone and was blowing heat to the over heat stat next to it

Worcester have a technical bulletin about the red seal. They should be telegan’d everytime to check if they are failed and if products of combustion are leaking into the combustion chamber. Also changed every 5 years at least I think it was too.

If the co2 doesn't adjust within range is it a faulty gas valve?

Engineer said by Greenstar 24i junior is overheating, said I should replace the boiler. Do you agree. The boiler is 11 years old.
@snapgas98323 ай бұрын
Yes, Aslong as he has checked all the other avenues
@janegreen1913 ай бұрын
@@snapgas9832 What are all the other avenues. Please list them. I had a Sime boiler before and it lasted 15 years. This Greenstar combi boiler 24i only lasted 11 years. I want a simple boiler and not the computerised ones, easy to access. What do you recommend that would last longer that 11 years.

Brilliant video thank you! Just a few questions: 1. Did you add inhibitor to the system after? 2. Were the other radiators left open or closed? 3. Did you drain the system completely or near enough?
