Still to this day one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. The first 20 minutes is overwhelmingly full of emotion & beauty!

Why this act is not in the saltimbanco tape

Do you happen to have other Cirque de Demain footage? I'm looking from something from the 16th one, in 1991 I believe, and that isn't so far from the one that the Cirque du Soleil girls performed at.

@SytheClaw Yeah, I've found out about 10 months ago that they still rotate the Hand Balancing on Cranes

@circusm139 i just went to saltimbanco in auckland last night and they had a solo contortion and hand balancing on cranes act using this song it was great even had the move where she balanced on the piece using only her mouth

@davidduke180 This song is only available on the "Saltimbanco live in Amsterdam" soundtrack. However the CD is a very rare collector's item.

Last night I asked Stef for something new to try and he suggested the front end uprise over the board, half turn thing. I thought, wow, that sounds so weird. It's nice to get to see someone actually do it.

I loved it! Especially when you fell into the foot hang at 2:06 and then bent your legs that was gorgeous!!! Thought that the ending was nice as well.

@elecktroomuusiic Hey! Is it just me or this music would be great for a Handbalancing on Cranes act in Saltimbanco? Instead of doing the other handbalancing, the Handbalancing Act on Cranes can be a rotational act and they could use this music :D

By the way, did anyone else know that Isabelle Chasse is performing in there somewhere? If you didn't know, also Isabelle Chasse performed in Quidam for the Silks act and was also in Fascination and Nouvelle Experience which in those two shows she did contortion aswell :)

@bananajamprincess But isn't this a slower version of Rave Out? The original version (Fairfax) Rave Out was fast.

4:18 to 4:30 is my FAVOURITE part! I wonder what that move is called? It looks easy enough for me to execute with about 3 mth work, in addition to my other training, & I'll call it the "Infinity shape"!

They got seperated and went their seperate ways in 1998. It was when saltimbanco finished there big top tours. When they started the arena tours they didnt search for them again but they did reunite in i believe 2004 or 2008 i dont remember but they didnt perform in saltimbanco when they did. i wish they would come back.

R these the same contortionists from nouvel experience? . My favorite contortionist is in Alegria Ulziibayar "Ochki"

Worldwide as Cirque Du Soleil is, contortionists in general and especially at their level are hard to come by.
