@@TheBowlerYT 10 practice games and you'd average over 100. It's been a very, very long time for me. Usually I played in the Johnston area. In the ancient days of the 1960's, I bowled on Pine St where the place had a 2 inch rubber stop at the foul line.

@randrrr2193 I would imagine it did a lot more than stop bowlers😂 I'm sure many falls were made and many more face-plants. I already have weird footin with approaches so I know i would be one of the many to trip onnthe rubber line haha

As someone who's been working on pinsetters for awhile, it really warms my heart seeing someone enthused and excited about pinsetter mechanics. Though I'm a little sad we won't be seeing the GSX pinsetter from earlier videos in the series, the A2 is a much easier machine to replicate. Good luck with the project!! :D

Honestly, I really wish I could film more GSX videos, but the hardest thing to overcome with these kinds of videos is the owners of bowling alley's. They jjst really don't want anyone going down-lane. Understandably* Also, I appreciate it XD

@@TheBowlerYT Yeah, unfortunately, the GSX pinsetter is a literal death machine. If the place I worked hadn't swapped to the BoostST I would have absolutely been willing to show as much footage as you'd like or need. But alas! :') Ours is no more.

I wish Singapore had this kind of modified amf pinsetter. All amf pinsetters in Singapore just sweep up when it's a strike. The pinsetter never comes down:( Anyways, I live your channel:)

As a mechanic 1st off center the shaker board too keep the pins from getting stuck, 2nd make sure that you have decent pins in the machine before it is posted to the public and everyone can make a comment about it.

@GlennMoyers I'm not the mechanic of this bowling alley (just wanted to throw that out there). But the pins being weird was purposeful, to be honest I didn't notice there were 3 stuck in the shaker until I reviewed the video.....but the odd pins are what makes this video unique, in my time of bowling I can't say I've ever seen 3 pins jammed in a shaker board haha. Anyway, the owners of the bowling alley should see the comments and hey....maybe it'll motivate them to fix things😁

@@TheBowlerYT really? I thought they are the most common... or were at least. Linds by far have the best pin carry and life combo of any pin imo. Maybe amf pins are cheaper. Interestingly, Amf and brunswick (not synthetic brunswick) pins fall at D whearas linds fall at C#/ Db.

@Koeni_Nick13 No Brunswick has the most common pins. But I think they are all good, and pin life is determined by how well the machine is maintained. (That's my opinion at least)

@user-ns4cc5lv7z usually when one is left standing it doesn't fall and the machine picks it up. At the last second, a pin slowly rolled over and knocked it down. (It doesn't happen to me very much)

Absolutely. I lightened up on the speed while concentrating on hitting the mark, it was disastrous 😂. Then I went for the spare instead of getting the pin count and dropped it in the gutter. Total disaster lol

So these 82-70s actually look for pins even on a strike. I like that....that's what they should all do! I can't tell you how many times when I was in my league, a camera failed to detect a pin because it was slightly off spot, and told the machine to just throw the pin away and set a new full rack. So annoying.
