We have the stihl 543 new version, we bought it for the side discharge, nice mower if the lawn is short and perfectly flat, the mower is very slow and struggles to move up any slight incline, in the past we used the 448, excellent mower, if your happy with the mowers don't change they are much of a muchness, we use a honda pro roller, I have heard good reviews about the stihl roller. nice set up, we redo our van each year modifying it to suit our needs, but also gives us a chance to give the interior a good deep clean.
@JackOfAllGardens3 күн бұрын
i do like the look of the 453, stihl need to make a pro mower with side discharge, as far as im aware they dont have 1 yet. the stihl roller is amazing, i will be doing a full review on it towards the end of next season when its took a battering. you cant go wrong with a honda mower, the only reason i chose stihl was honda were pulling out of the petrol mower market. what vans do you? thanks for the great comment

@JackOfAllGardens26 күн бұрын
hi, yes i plan on doing a review on the rm 455 early this year, at the end of the year with the 655 rs when i feel i know it completely. overall though i think they are great, i use a domestic designed mower 100+ gardens a week through all weathers with minor issues, they are worth looking at have a great day

All I can aay is fair play lad. Not many would do this & go to such lengths to do it right. Those Etesia Pro 53's are proper tanks - most heavy duty walk behind mower you can buy! I'll be lookimg forward to seeing more content with it! By the way , when was the video shot? Looks like some mild weather! Snow on the ground here in southern Ireland since last weekend, not enjoying being unable to work at the mo! Have a great Wednesday fella. Philip

By the way I like the way you work & your system. Strim/blow , mow then blow again. A good blower is one of our most used tools as gardeners!!

thanks for for the great comments. the video was uploaded 2 days after the job was completed, im sure around a month ago. its completely covered in snow now and im itching to get out cutting haha after 1st use it seems good, we will see through this year. its exciting to use such a machine though all the best

Hi mate Do I hear the BBC system disengaging by itself? Has this been a problem for you? Have a similar experience myself with the 655 RS! But not a bad mower. Have a basic review of it on my channel. Big fan of your videos by the way! Particularly the 655 RS ones 😂 You don't do Facebook or Instagram do you , mate? Happy New Year to you from a very snowy 🇮🇪🇮🇪 Good luck for the year ahead lad. Philip

hi mate, thanks for the kind words, ill check your channel out. the only issue i have is, some times on bouncy ground i must slightly let go of the bottom leaver and it disconnects the bbc. i feel it needs tightening a couple times a year on heavy use. overall the machine is amazing i dont use other social medias, just KZbin atm. will start more along the future. thanks for the comment. have a great day

Nice I’ve got lwb Renault but I run my mowers out the side doors less damage to car and frees up space for green waste in back of van. I’m in oz and we have a bad car break-ins so we have to keep things low so they can’t see. Hope you have a good year
@JackOfAllGardens28 күн бұрын
i didnt think it was like that in oz, seems peaceful. id love a lwb, theres so many more options on how you could have it, i have been debating about raising my floor a few inch to hide a few tools under there, all though ill have the new van next year. Happy new year, all the best

Great job Jack. I am not keen on the head camera footage as it makes me dizzy. However, you do really excellent and thorough work. There’s a channel I watch called Quick Cuts. The creator’s name is George and he has perfected his filming and editing. You might enjoy checking his channel out. He’s a really lovely chap who I know has advised other youtubers in the recent past. He does thorough work like you do. He also uses a dustbin to collect the waste and he’s had a big sticker made for the side of it which says ‘Subscribe’. You could do this too and also have your logo on it. I hope you don’t mind my comments and suggestions. I like your channel and it would be great to see it grow. Wishing you a lovely Christmas. ❤🎄

Great job mate. Only thing I would have done different was go over again with a strimmer and cut at high height mower might not handle to many of them thick cuts lol. But everyone is different keep smashing it do much more than I could ever do so don't take it as offensive. Brilliant to see this in the uk

Please use kinder terms - "old man" is an awful description. How about "older gentleman" instead? I don't care how nice it would be to have my lawn mowed, if you called me an "old lady" in a video I would be horrified, hurt and angry. Words have power to uplift, let's be thoughtful how we use them!!
@JackOfAllGardensАй бұрын
In my opinion 'old man' is the perfect way to say it. Where I'm from we call our fathers 'old man', not as a way to be mean, its just the way we refer to our elder generation in a term of respect. I wouldn't say 'old lady' as I'm a seasoned veteran in saying stupid things to women lol. I could write anything and people will take offense to it, you have to remember that not all cultures are the same and the words people use don't always have the same emotional values as you and where your from. other then that i hope you enjoyed the video, have a great day :D

What does it matter, he got the job done. In some areas that is a term of endearment. If your old your old, no getting around it!!!!
