Ciao Lucio.

Grazie ancora, Martin.

Great stream Martin! Symphonic Destruction was the quickest purchase decision I ever made when it came out and I use it a lot - mostly for ostinatos with that repeater or rhythms, but also for some big blasts of orchestral goodness (you've definitely heard some in my tracks :))

Great sounding plugin. But I can't figure out how to get the files installed in the proper locations. The Keepforest required down-loader just downloads a zip file...it does NOT install it. Native Access says it requires a NICNT file (or something like that) but I don't see that file extension within the zipped files.

Sorry to hear. It's some years that I didn't use it and to be honest I do not remember how I installed it. Maybe contact the Keepforest support, they should be able to help you

There sure is a lot of stuff in there Martin, a lot of the sounds later on in the stream had a kind of retro feel, they reminded me of something but I can't remember what! It would be interesting to get the inspiration of the sound design from Heavyocity.

I love your piece of music and I love this walkthrough; it is really informative and helpful. One of the key things here, and it is part of 'Know your tools!', is that you carefully orchestrated this. Rather than orchestrating the acoustic instruments of an orchestra, you orchestrated your sample libraries. This means that mixing comes easily, different sounds aren't competing in the same frequency range at the same time, and you can fill out the spectral range. Yes, you wrote this to be stereo; but this also means that you'd have great mono compatibility. I really admire how you did that. I try to do the same when designing synthesiser sounds for different elements of my music; but it is a great testament to your knowledge of your tools and how they can work together.
@MartinHeidenreichMusic
@MartinHeidenreichMusic 11 күн бұрын
Bee, you make me blush, way too kind. Of course, there went a lot of thought into this but at the same time it was easy to achieve with all those wonderful libraries that we have at our fingertips these days. I know I might be boring as most of the time I use the very same libraries, but at least I do know how those sound and behave and how to achieve certain sounds or effects if I don´t want to go with a factory preset.
@BF-up5xw
@BF-up5xw 11 күн бұрын
@ It's not boring to use the same tools in such widely different ways! Plus, you have a more professional workflow than I have to have. For example, I can afford to design a fresh percussion kit for each piece of music as I'm rarely working to deadlines. And my sound design skills are still very basic; so it isn't often at the standard you are working to.

Hi Martin, good video! I hope to get one of these sometime this year. I will likely stay at 24 gb RAM, w/1 tb SSD. I have an M1 mini currently, 1 tb SSD, 16 gb RAM. So far,, it has taken everything I can throw at it, but I've gotten some VSL, SPITFIRE and Hollywood Orchestra this year. Would love to see how this performs with Logic Pro. Tschüß.

So far I can only say: I'm working on Logic Pro and Final Cut Pro contemporary and don´t have any problems. This little thing really is a beast. If you concentrate on one task at at time, then probably even the M4 with 24 or 32GB of unified memory should be enough

@@MartinHeidenreichMusic It's been pretty great so far. I can work faster and do more complex sound design on the fly. I think, though, that it would be a very expensive option for those who need specs to cope with massive sample library templates. Happily, I don't have to worry about that. CPU issues affect me more than demands on RAM. The Mac Mini machines seem even more flexible.
