gotta launch at high rpms say like 3000 rpms, and feel that the front wheels r moving then u push into the throttle. he hit it before you did on the second run it seemed like.

@@MarkIV_Garage you claimed fastest bolt on j35 accord…. There’s low 12 second accords in the 1/4. You didn’t specify transmission or gen but I also know people with 9th gen auto that are faster than you. 4dp has gone 13.5 at 112. When hollyv6 does a run his speedo climbs much faster than yours. Need to post ur runs before claiming stupid titles like that. It seems like you’re at elevation or something. Either way it’s still slow and you need to spray a small shot or boost it to run with even a stock 2015 hellcat or a boosted 90s civic.

@@ClappedCVPI it just depends if I can do a trade for a v6 somewhere. My mom bought the 4cyl after I crashed my 2019 Camry when I was like 16. She bought the ‘17 lx for 18k with 120k miles on it. Personally I believe she got scammed so hard with my money. Because I’ve seen 2018+ accords for that price or lower. If I could find a v6 ‘17 a dealership would trade me for I will truly be blessed

I did some testing and it makes a huge difference if you raise the rev limiter and shift in manual mode. I have mine set at 7500rpm and it doesn’t bog down and fall under vtec on the shifts like yours does. You have all the bolt ons and it’s kinda going to waste not reving it out any higher. In my testing with a 5.0 mustang shifting manually at 7500rpm I can almost run doors with it, as letting it shift on its own it beats me by about 2 car lengths.

It's a blox composite one with a 6" inlet and 4" neck, $40 on amazon. All the parts I used will be linked in my next video with a guide on making the intake

Have you thought about installing a turbo kit? There are some companies that make them for the J35 engine but you probably need some internals to not blow it up.
