Joe I’ve loved watching your shipboard adventures and now I found these too. Now I want to fly to the US and rent an RV, from sea to shining sea. Thank you

You really should wear your seat belt. And it’s only about 45 minutes north of New Orleans. The cabins in the lake are first class. That large building is restrooms, showers and what was a visitors center many years ago. The new visitor center is well made and houses antique artifacts from Indians. Occasionally you may see a native of the area explaining and demonstrating Indian life several hundred years ago. It also used to have a large swimming pool. They are currently (9-18-24) installing sewer disposal at every site except primative area. In some places, near the cypress knees in the lake you can dig for small clams. There are thousands. You can also walk several hundred yards out into the lake. It very gradually gets deeper.

You should have dried out the holes where the tap goes in and put some silicone on the raw wood to stop it blowing through water ingress. Belt and brasses. Ouch that knee. Lessons were learnt. Like your channels and adventures : )

I love to travel, be on the road, camp etc. That being said I just don't get the RV thing at all. Buy a super expensive RV, paying huge for fuel, just to arrive at an RV park where you are packed together on concrete slabs and nearly paying what you would for a hotel room. Absolutely nothing about that do I find attractive, yet millions do it. Joe you have talent, the look, the voice, that all American good guy feel...find your groove and get consistent posting videos and in five years you will be rich. Peace.
