Oh my God, what a rendition! A force of nature, zephyr and hurricane on stage! So lucky, who was there that night! By the way, was Deutecom a little flat at 6:48? It must be one of the rarest black pearls. Thank you so much for posting this. I love Deutekom, her godly heroic yet most humanly sensitive interpretations. A superb artist and master.

I was many times in the Opera when she sung and her voice was so big in the high notes, that could be the reason, the recordings are not good enough to hold the tone, while she was always in tune, sometimes her pianisimo perhaps, but that was also so beautiful, I didn't care!
