Every time I heard the music at 2mn, I think to emperor Majorian marching in the desolated streets of Rome... The roman crowd, poor and miserable but happy and cheering him... Thinking that he will save them, that Cesar will win, that all their sufferings, their humiliations are over... I think to the Emperor, tears in his eyes, who vowed himself to defend this people, his people. Hope, this is hope in sadness this music because we know what happen, we know that the Emperor was killed after days of agony in torture after treason, but they, they didn't known and they had hope... hope for a better day, a better life... a dream... a dream called Rome... romans were basically powerful than those crusaders, romans would use their pilum to thrown it at the armor and also the knight's armor was just made out of chainmail so its easier to penetrate by the roman gladius and the pilum, romans also use the formation testudo to block any advancing cavalry or arrows hitting them.
