Ahahahahah I've thought so too! However, I have never seen such scenes in my game, I've only seen the brawls from a distance and when you're near lags too much. They should show how your men are at a standstill after the enemy starts to run away. Frozen!

It is stated in the video description that the only graphical editing was some colour tweaking. Speaking from my own experience i can say that Rome 2 is a truly Beautiful game, if your rig can handle it.

Most videos made where there are alot of troops what they do is they record in slower motion thus gets rid of the lag. Dont get me wrong the lag is still there if u run on normal but u cant see lag when its recorded in a slower motion.

I think Rome has more depth and tactics to it over Empire, Napoleon or Shogun 2. Each of the factions cultures in Rome have a different flavour and play style so you can’t just copy strategies and army builds from one faction to another and dominate like you could in Shogun 2 or Empire

go to users/yourcomputername/appdata/roaming/TheCreativeAssembly/Rome 2/Scripts/preferences.script.log and find default_camera_type change parameter to 2. Back up the file before making any changes.
