He's quite talented but for some reason I preferred the comics drawn by Tony Moore.Because it always seemed to me that Tony puts more personality into the characters.

As well as foreshortening (what body part/parts) from different angles and prospectives.

Although, I would say that the best way to learn would be to (in the words of the legendary John Byrne) "Know your bones". The skeleton is the foundational scaffolding of the human anatomy (as it were), and that's where the overlying musculature originates. Knowing your attachment and insertion points on the skeletal system will/would make all of this much easier than say, disproportional "body shapes" just floating in space. Skeleton, major muscle attachment and insertion points and finally proportionality depending on height and sex.

I think it's long enough you could talk about those new Dead Pool characters. Crazy if Marvel was triggered by this and complains about you, I mean you're THEE Jim Lee!😂😂

Jim works very slowly and erases so much more than you’d expect. Very meticulous process. I’d love to see life drawing/charcoal figure drawings from him. It’d be interesting to see how time pressure affects his work.

WOW! I've never seen Jim Lee draw before but, man do I appreciate his work! DC Universe Online, and Wild C.A.T.s when I was a kid. The interesting thing is watching them draw, though. It seems like he's doing a really quick rough sketch and you see how its taking him quite some time and you can see why Jim Lee and Todd McFarlane got themselves quickly where they are today. Long days of drawing and repetition and monotony. A dream to work as an artist for a big company until you actually get there and then you say..... "What am I doing? I thought this was going to be fun" and its not, its a job at that point and the fun is gone, so you have to discover new hobbies to replace what was once fun because that became a job. Jim Lee and Todd McFarlane get to enjoy their jobs now because its calling the shots and letting everyone else do the monotony and basking in the fame and attention of others growing their product, its more fun to be the boss and come and go as you please and not have the crunch. Jim Lee may have enjoyed this but, again, its business and business is business and you gotta keep the fan and customer happy. I'm sure Jim Lee and McFarlane far more enjoy reading comics and seeing the art of others and watching talent and innovation far more, especially if its watching their own product grow because that's the reality, a job is just a job and that's why we have our hobbies, is an outlet and escape from that job so, when your hobby has become that job, yeah, its no fun anymore. We see Jim Lee's drawing here as amazing, as art, but he's sick of it
