Great job Carolyn! I loved this entire video, but my favorite part is Carolyn's recap at the end - her emotion, her joy, her gratitude, her pride in her accomplishment. Such a strong and good person. Thank you.

First of all, thank you for your service. I’m just starting to watch her hour long KZbin video and I’m already tearing up with you and Bodie. I just want to say I’m 12 minutes into this and you’re everything a policeman should be. I’m retired and Auburn I just learned about this race I do not run but I love events like this. I hope you make the 2023 lottery if you’re trying maybe I’ll find out by the end of this video but it was a really well done video. I’m thankful I watched it you’re an amazing guy. God bless.

Every clip is of her walking. Can you walk the whole thing?
@laurachancellor32 жыл бұрын
Hey there! No, you can't walk the whole thing. She ran a majority of it. And typically when coming into aid stations or areas I could film her she would be walking or hiking. That's normal for most runners at this race except for elites who fly in and out of aid stations.
@wk6332 жыл бұрын
You're not required to run, but with a 30hr cutoff for 100 miles, you have to maintain an 18min per mile overall pace. But most people also need to spend time in aid stations getting food and water, changing socks/shoes, replacing ice to keep cool, replacing sunscreen etc.
