Big fan of Encre Noire Sport because it uses that grapefruit accord that was typical of a few mid-90s freshies. Very nostalgic, but in a...vetiver way. 😂 Actually one of my favourite vetivers to wear. Perhaps even more so than TdH. 🤫😬 A great video!

Excellent video! It took awhile to grow on me, but I LOVE Encre Noire A’Lextreme. I enjoy the sport flanker as well! Regrettably, I must admit that I haven’t tried the original Encre Noire. I’ll have to change that soon! I recently purchased Le Loden from Jaqcues Fath, and that fragrance would fit very well into this video! A truly wonderful fragrance showcasing three types of vetiver. I’d highly encourage any vetiver lover to check it out! I know it’s a little pricey at retail, but you can find them heavily discounted online (at least here in the US). I picked up my 100ml bottle for just $27 ($160 retail)!

In India we use rose too much, in food, in skincare, in soap, in incense, the reason why rose in perfume is kinda odd, not all the time though. Portrait of a lady smell like betel leaf to my nose and sadly couldn't find any occasion to wear it.

I sometimes like to wear Oud e Rosa Nera by Farmacia SS. Annunziata, Velvet Rose by Claudio Zucca and Darling Rouge by De Gabor. Maybe you get the chance to test them anywhere. I will definitely try to get a sample of Radical Rose 🌹😉

Fantastic descriptions. I love the sound of encens flamboyant (love fir note). Kyoto and hala sound good too. My favourite i have is arabiyat prestige hypnotic oud. It is the same dna as lattafa ameer al oud intense, but much higher quality (i think it is a 'by the fireplace clone', gorgeous.

I’m not sure if they’re available across the pond, but 18.21 Man Made (known for the beautiful honey bomb - Sweet Tobacco Spirits) makes a fragrance called Noble Oud Spirits that smells very similar to Royal Oud. This one has added clove, but the overall scent is remarkably similar. Performance could be better, but considering the price, I don’t mind reapplying

Ill have to check out some of those. So far my favorite incense fragrance is sacred smoke by darren alan

I have been looking at Larmes du desert for quite some time and this might be the push I need. You were so right with the Dunhill Indian Sandalwood (though it disappears with my skin chemistry) so maybe this will be my next blind buy. Yeah, I am the kind of guy who does a lot of blind buys.

You are really pushing me to get to discover Comme des Garcons more...😅. That is one great collection you have, Zagrov peaked my cutiosity more than the others. Incens wise i like : La liturgie des Heures by Jovoy , which i find very clean and non abrasive, reminds me of how white sage smells ( btw many compare la Liturgie des heures to Avignon or to the Montale one 😂) but my favorite is Mourning Ritual by a canadian brand called LVNEA. Also i could not , not mention, how the esthetic surrounding you fits the theme of the video...the wooden chair , the wooden cabinet , the old phone behind...and the voice of course ! Can you please make a video to talk à little bit about Belgians very own perfumes brands if there are a few. I want to discover what is not well known abroad.

My most comforting scent is Mon Guerlain - a warm and cozy benzoin/vanilla/sandlewood scent with some lavender to soothe and calm my mind. It reminds me of the embrace of a mother but also the sophistication of a grown women. So pure with love. 💖
