There is a video on KZbin somewhere I found that shows how to repair this but I forgot where exactly. There is a small area in the left side where you need to remove some grease that got on an electrical connection that has to be cleaned. I followed this repair and it worked fine. I hope you can find it. I will see if I can find it when I have a minute.

I don't recommend getting a Refurbished Amazon Fire TV Stick I had a Refurbished one and I went to Factory Reset it and whenever I tried to Login to my Amazon Account it wouldn't let me into my Account I have a few different Amazon Accounts and it kept asking me for a specific Code from someone else's Account. It seems to me like Amazon doesn't actually fully Factory Restore their so called Refurbished Devices and that's kinda scary because that means people's information might be leaked.

On the cylinders shape fuse looking motor on the top left corner.On the polarity positive or negative the motor will clockwise or counter clockwise. Make sure the tape cover is close or it will get jammed and not slide in. NeXT open the cover and see if it will slide open again. Normally and it should work. Don’t fiddle mess with the internal wheel or side hinge clip. It might not open or close correctly later.
