you are literally holding a bunch of not so useful items, like stuff that is better cursed you take right away and stuff like regen potion and adrenaline which isnt all too useful you keep locked for 10 rounds. that is inneficient because early on rolls are cheap and got incredible value in finding better and more importsnt items. Id suggest play as if you dont have a hook until you get 2 or more hooks. only lock essencial items like hoodie, coin, starfish, maybe hunting trophie but thats debatable, and ofc fishhook when you find second

just take treasure maps, they all add up to 100% in the end and 100+ does nothing

fyi shackles does cap your speed usage but you will still see the extra unused stats. and generator still scales with the unused/surplus stats. i like to cap my movement between 30/40 so that way generator still scales with extra unused speed points (which go above the cap threshold) but your movement is still manageable

Hello bro, i just wanted to say that the "shackles" item that caps your speed just caps the speed of which you move in game doesn't actually stops you from getting the bonus damage of say the power generator. Like for example if you have the power generator and your speed is capped at 30 you can still get speed and although you move at the same speed in game your damage does go higher and doesn't gets capped with the speed
