Random Loot Crate drops are actually insanely rare, but it differs per enemy. A basic one has a 1% chance to drop a consumable, so a fruit. This then also has another 1% chance to be a Crate, so a 1/10000 on 0 Luck. Then this gets reduced by the amount of Crates dropped so far, meaning it becomes less and less likely. Now 100% Luck doesn't double the odds really, it quadruples them. Because it doubles the chance to drop a consumable and it doubles the chance to drop a Crate, so instead of taking 1% to 2%, it takes 1% and 1% to 2% and 2%, combined 4% or a 1 in 2500 chance. Now Crate drops only reduce the chance for more Crates, so if you have a 10% chance in both (900% Luck) and you get a Crate, then it's still 10% for a Consumable but 5% for another Crate, so it doesn't half it but still goes down quickly. Trees on the other hand ALWAYS drop a consumable, so it's a 100% for a fruit and 20% for a Crate, so 100% Luck means 40% Chance for a Crate, going down to 20, 10, 5 etc. Enemies range from 1 to 10% on the normal map, while Loot Goblins are always 100% and Trees was mentioned above. The slasher egg has a 0% so if one wants Crates, you'd let them hatch, but that guy is "only" a 1% either way for a tough enemy. Endless Elites seem to have a 100% chance but that means each additional Crate reduces the chance to get one, it could also be it's more than 100% but that explains why they don't always drop one

Endless elites chance for crates technically reduces but slowly. You don’t need to get much luck per 10 waves to keep up. Loot aliens do eventually fall off hard though. I think before R20 loot aliens can not drop crates if you have negative luck but it’s unlikely Edit: it’s basically irrelevant unless you are going super late though, like 100+ at least, for both the elites and the loot aliens.

44:31 you rolled past the cape. without it cursed it was not just the stats showing but it was also 10% damage from the bloody hand but also 100% attack speed due to the insane high roll that was your hoodie. Cursed it could be 21% damage and 210% attack speed. Really enjoyed the video!

Ball and chain definitely needs a buff. Even when the downside isn’t that bad, it just doesn’t feel like it gives enough. Same with all of those types of items. Edit: 12:45 R16 always has a bunch of curse enemies spawn near the end, starting at about 10 seconds remaining. R26, 36, etc. keep the same pattern

The Frozen Heart is way better than the Nail, but getting both combined with an Ice Cube and a Strange Book is the best. Then you just buy every stat you see and watch your damage go through the roof.

Nah, nail is better. It has better base scaling at 20% instead of 10% and i think it works better on engineering builds than heart works on elemental builds. Robot arm giving that automatic engineering scaling makes it crazy
