Well yeah. The buckets are empty. And it's clear that the Kubota cylinders have to travel less because they have less mechanical advantage over the other machines. Meaning the other machines will lift more. Put a 3/4yd bucket on each machine, fill them with gravel, then re-do the test. I don't make a habit of raising an empty bucket on a worksite.

Thanks, very helpful. We took delivery of a new 4160e, Kubota came to set it up. We rolled 1/2 a roll and the pickup jammed up with hay. Our windrows were larger than yours in the video but we were only going 2.5mph when this happened. Dealer had no explanation. have you experienced this issue and, if so, what did you do to correct it? Thanks

There is a safety switch which is pushed in by the chute or mulching piece being attached to the deck. I took the cover off and it wouldn't start. Put it back on, no problem. It takes only a minute with 2 easily accessible wingnuts and no tools. This mower starts up first crank each time and it is a joy to use. It also mows in reverse by putting the key to the reverse area after starting and pushing in the triangular button. It will stay in reverse mode until you turn it off. All in all, for my homeowner needs, I really like this mower-and at 70 bucks a cut here in Miami, it's already more than 1/3 paid for itself in a month.

Wow if you didn’t tell me most of these things I’d be lost. I bought a zero turn and every time I pushed my lift hand I went the wrong way. Your video is useless. Everyone left after 10 seconds.

Life Long JD owner from 650, 2030, to JD6415. But this last time I turned in my Green hat to Capital Tractor in Montgomery. Went to drop off my diesel cutter (lifelong orange there) I glanced across the lot over at the big orange tractors. Well the sales guy saw me. He tricked me into the cab of a M6-111DTC and it was over. And when I came too I had loaded one up to take it home. Had it for a year and I love it. Kubota throws it all in on the base model, and Deer upgrades you to death for things you want. Just having the roof glass to see my limbsaw was enough to set the two tractors compared about 20k apart in price. And I love the service I get from Capital Tractor in Montgomery. No BS

Just noticed he didn’t mention the clutch for the pto, acted like that lever is all it takes..... I wish.

The clutch type pto engagement sure is annoying. And I know it’s a budget model but the seats on all the low end Kubota stuff is a miserable place to spend time in. N the fuel filling location is also another annoying choice. It is definitely a very capable piece of kit though.

Junk hydraulics are slow as hell. Cat case or John Deere if you want production cabs rattle and bang all day long can’t even hear the radio cause you need earplugs and muffs
