The PUUPGRADE code works if you already own HueForge and you want to upgrade to a commercial tier. You must use the same email address you used for the original purchase.

I've done this, but found the layer change numbers are now not correct. I've had to use my slicer to adjust to about 2 layer count to get the image to be like what is shown in HueForge.

I just got the app and I keep getting the same problem over and over - I create whatever and the describe file says swap at layer 5, 8 and 10 for example but when I load the .stl into bambu it only have 5 layers... this keeps happening, anyone know what my problem could be? (newbie)

Sounds like your layer heights in the Slicer don't match HueForge or you are scaling it down in the slicer or both

What specifically are you lost on? Start simple, dark colors on the bottom, light colors at the top. Learn how the filaments blend and then move to more complicated stuff. Also check out NeoKoi prints videos they might make more sense to you?

Hi. Thanks for this. I'm just wondering (since this video is a bit old and Hueforge is developing so quickly) if this is still considered the best way to test TD for Hueforge, short of buying a TD-1.

The Seashell Test in the Tools folder is the current best way aside from the TD-1. It takes longer to print but comes with a guide to reading it that helps reduce the overestimation problem that people have when looking at TDs. It also accounts for how your printer and settings work to make a HueForge as a more real-world example.

Thank you for taking your time to show this detail video. I purchased HueForge and so damn confused. I been trying to make some pictures for my families and my colors just don't work out. I hope with this video I will learn something. I want to make a 5x7 picture and just can't get the right (mm). smh, but do love this program.

HueForge does not allow you to adjust the aspect ratio of an image. You would need to adjust your image to have that 5:7 ratio before you import it into HueForge. Otherwise you would need to distort the image or clip it. Getting 100% color accurate images is not the PRIMARY goal of HueForge, but videos on Color Aware are probably going to be more helpful for that.

I suggest starting slowly and with black and white first. Just two colors, black near the bottom, white starting at the top. Adjust the black so that you see some in the image, then bring the white down until you get the contrast you like. With filaments you have and TDs you measure, try to print a few and make adjustments. Then try Fire colors with the same idea. Also take a look at the example projects in the HueForge folder.

Greens are very difficult to match because our eyes are more sensitive to green color, we can see more grades of greens than any other color.

This is true with our eyes, but Color Match ALSO has this issue and I'm not 100% sure why, but it is probably related because we often see green when it isn't really green.

Hey, big fan, I use the software since january :) Are there some guidelines for the slicer except the thicknesses? For example how many walls, what infill pattern is best to use, etc? I mostly use cura in various versions The hardest thing to do is hit the flow right for the first and especially the later layers as I sometimes have holes when the layers overlap in specific regions (the bed isn't perfect and altough I got a BLTouch and Klipper) it's sadly not so consistent. Generally we do 1 wall, Monotonic top, rectilinear bottom and if you have curling issues, zigzag or hilbert bottom, if you don't monotonic is fine. Flow and pressure advance are pretty important as is print temps, I recommend cooler than you think and less retraction.

You can just disable a slider by clicking on the layer number button under it. I'm not sure I understand the question about using three colors. You can't always get the same results but you just use three colors.

Don't know if you will read this, but you were talking about diffusing and reflecting the light. To me, it's really confusing. Ajax has an 1mm diffuser to print. Does it need to go under the light to basicly reflect the light? Or above the light to defuse it? (so it's less bright'ish, like some LED lights)

In the original version, the lights are around the side. The diffuser is in the bottom to reflect light up to the top. In your configuration you would want to put it between your lights and the top

Great to hear. To be transparent, Color Match is not currently in the Personal Use version. It is a beta only feature right now, but will come to Personal Use when it leaves beta.

Thank you very much. This helped me with my issue. I forgot to check and make sure the layer height was the same as in Bambu Studio, and sure enough, I was set to .08mm in BS and .04 in Hueforge.

It could be extrusion, or it could be needing a little more tolerance in the fit. I've definitely scaled X and Y to like 99% before to get a fit. Or used a file.
