That attempt to roll with fedor to arrive in a a rear naked with hooks underneath is a judo move Rhonda showed him. Also juking and faking out the direction you intend to roll, I was taught to go diagonally, either NE or NW…. Another problem is weight, it’s easier if you weigh more than your opponent, because mass moves mass. The frog postion fedor did was lowering his pelvis and center of gravity into the ground , making it harder to roll him. Diagonally, because you have rotational force along with forward linear vector force and gravitational force acting when executed correctly. You can do a fluid in one go type of motion withought hesitating to gain momentum and grab the neck collars; that gives you more speed and force and also surprise. It would have been A++, stylistically if successful. Respect for the attempt. A little hopeful though , some things just don’t carry over into heavyweight division. I bet fedor had a smile afterwards, Chanel attempting a sambo/judo move on me? The balls. The flex.
