Good fight BTW! The first knee that Minakov landed to the solar plexus really hurt Volkov. I think it was down hill from there. It looked like all the wind was knocked out of him.

I think it was a justifiable stoppage. Volkov had just taken one too many big hits and wasn't responding. He can have his eyes fixed on something but he still has to "intelligently defend himself." Absorbing huge shots to the head is not defending yourself. Dan almost stopped it more than once. But the last (L) hook he took he never reacted. He was frozen w/ his (R) hand up. I think the lack of reaction was Dan's final straw.
