I worked for McDonald's for many years in Sweden, and can tell you that the food there doesn't contain high fructose corn syrup. Instead it contains real sugar. Also, the McFurry should have been mixed because that's the proper way of making them. It is mostly McDonald's in Sweden themselves that call it Donken. Most of the customers at the different stores I worked at called it M-C. (In Norway the customers say Makken, in Australia it's Maccas).

Swede here: Orkla is the parent company that has Kalles, Svennes and a bunch of other products as wholly owned subsidiaries. Kalles has been around for AGES, and Svennes came about as a kind of attempt to steal market shares from Kalles and was a bit of a budget version in comparison. As for Kalles being a breakfast "food" I'd have to disagree. Kalles is a condiment, not a main ingredient. And I really hope you did store that Kavli shrimp cheese in the fridge after opening. They're fine in room temperature until opened after which they require cold temps to not go bad. Kavli do have a whole range of different tasting soft cheeses like Ham, Bacon, Chanterell and Brie. Also a couple different green cheese variants, a range of Mozzarella based ones and some "Flamin Hot" ones including Smokey Chipotle, Strong Sriracha and Hot Jalapeno.

I don't even know what Julmust is, but I like it. It's Swedish tradition. Some kind of spiced molasses drink. I like rootbeer as well, it has the flavor of the chewing gum "jenka", which we chew as kids. Only drank rootbeer like 2 times though, I have to try it again. I recon it's as differnet to us as Julmust is to some americans.
