Better Than McDonald's?! 🍔🍟 Americans Try Swedish Fast Food Chain Max Burger

Norwegian here. We only have a handfull Max Burgers here, but BK and McDonalds are everywhere. We alleays go for Max Burgers when we have the option. But its their Grand beef burgers that are the best.i hope they open more shops here. They only exist in Oslo, Stavanger and Trondheim at the moment.

Oh that’s surprising that Max isn’t everywhere in Norway. Kind of assumed that since it’s so popular in Sweden, it would have spread all throughout Norway too. Thanks for sharing that!

What Max is famous for is their sauce game. Just looking online right now I count 19 flavors, including the hot melted cheese.

I always get their melted cheese to dip my fries in. I find it kind of unbelievable that Max are the only ones that have this no brainer on their menu. And it's not like Max is the only fast food chain that knows how to melt cheese.

Tbh personally I can't really rank max and donken, cause as I always put it, if I want a burger I go to max, and if I want donken I go to donken xD Oh and if I want a transcendental experience I get a burger from a food truck, there's just something about food truck burgers that hit differently.

Always go for double frisco at max with its sourdough bread , It will be different from most things at other fast food places and the fries with hot cheese/green garlic/honey curry sauces if you gonna try max the first time

Yeah Max is incredible their hamburgers and the sauce is so good. they have resturants in poland, Norway, sweden and denmark

Yea, its green washing, but.. McDonalds Sweden do the same thing, tryes the same aproch! And to some extent they actualy does.. its a big thing at least in North Euorpe.. companys supose to be responsible! McD altso promote that they are such a good employer!? In anyway, I think that we are more concered about those things.. sweden is kind of a rich country, and there is a lot of fast food shacks, to chose frome! Soo.. big companys need to have a good reputation to keep there customers! A totaly other thing is the taste of the food.. and when you tryed out different sodas, you couldnt tell.. I would say its the same with burger shacks.. not that different! Sometimes the burger is better at the local Sibylla, but you have to order anything that you like on your burger!

Yes, there does seem to be a definite need to seem responsible as a company much more than in the USA! It’s very interesting. We’ve never had Sibylla but it sounds like we should try it!!

The survey they claim shows that they have Sweden's best burger is a bit misleading. Yes, best among the cheapest nationwide chains but nowhere near the premium segment like Bastard/Jureskogs and miles away from the best smash burger places in bigger cities.

@@justinandgeoff It's a survey where people were asked which burger place they like best, without any options/alternatives given.. so of course the biggest will get most even if it doesn't have the tastiest burger. But with that said they are quite nice.

You two are TOO cute! The max burger kind of sounds like a Salisbury steak lol 😅 I too love the filet o fish and the low quality makes it delicious. Nothing can ever taste better than a McDonald’s filet o fish and be a better quality substitute. Fish sandwiches can Only be as bad or worse.

The thing about Sibylla is that they don't have a standardized menu like the other chains, so each Sibylla has their own selection of burgers, kebab, hot dogs, flat bread rolls, and possibly other things. The only thing they have in common is that they get most of their patties from the same supplier. So if you try three Sibylla you'll get three different experiences.
