The only reason they ask you not to eat anything prior to the surgery is that some people have nausea due to the anesthesia and may vomit, so they do not want anything to choke you since you're pretty much paralyzed at that point and cannot react.

no idea why people's cheeks swell up, or why it takes so long to recover? I drove myself for a coffee on day 2 (3rd day). most important thing my surgeon told me was to keep rinsing out my nose with saline wash. surprisingly this isn't recommended in the US videos I've watched. guess it's something most patients stuff up?

I feel like when I look in the mirror I’m very happy but then in pictures I feel like I still hate it 😫 you look great! To add to the things you wish you knew, I had no idea how hard it would be to sneeze through my mouth only 🤣 I will look to see if you have more videos about your results!

Exactly it's very weak and tired post operation specially anesthesia. I felt I had cuts on my lips and my teeth hurted. Getting better

You didnt have the major swelling too. Cool! It really looked easy. Mine was all pinkish purplish and very hard
