Oh no, they have lots of balls - imagine how brave you have to be to fly near the airspace full of genetically modified viral pigeons specifically designed to seek out and unalive bio-ruzzians😂😂😂

hey if you ever need ideas, here's one, the Komet, the soviet anti ship missile, you'll see why it should have a small segment or video, something quick to tide the viewers for a little while

MORAL OF THE STORY: “If the lower-ranking pleb who knows how to fly better than you do bosses your grocery selection, listen up and just order a second or third plane to bring it home.”

This video reminds me so much of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain that it is unreal. Kojima is god.

Thanks for teaching me about Smekalka. It explains a lot of Russian behavior and how so many things can be overlooked with that kind of mindset. I've always been confused on how something like Chernobyl can happen, but Smekalka is the perfect explanation.

why the americans and english allied try to put down the soviets when its been for decades the opposite. Russian have invented nearly everything in technology that the americans have copied.

A lot of comments about the difficulty of exiting a flat spin. Theoretically, if everyone on the plane had rushed to the front, would it have helped?

1:51, honestly, I think copying is pretty smart. Much less expensive, but at the expense of not being on the leading edge. Definitely a viable strategy if you use mass numbers, which the Russians do. Plus their military brass knows what gender they are.

Tu-104 was kinda in-joke (in a size of a country, yes). There was that black humorous ditty on a melody of famous funeral march by Chopin with the words which I could translate somewhat like this: 'Tu-handred-four is the best aerocraft. Tu-104 - there would never be a fall. Should I've gone by train instead? Should I've gone by train instead? Tu-104 is the best aerocraft...'

The Soviets using 200 and it seeping into popular culture is very similar to the US Millitary's 86. I always heard 86 this and 86 that working in restauraunts and I looked it up and it has a similar origin.

This crash serves as a good example of why commercial jets with rear mounted engines fell out of favor. When exceeding the angle of attack the wings would cause disruption of the airflow to the rear engines, resulting in a compressor stall and engine failure. Engines mounted under the wings were never at risk under similar circumstances because no situation exists where the air to the engines can be disrupted, with the added benefit of engine mounted turbines providing more efficient weight distribution resulting in improved handling and efficiency.
