The 59 tribute pickups in the 2014 and 2015 models were great pickups . Why they stopped using them completely is a mystery.. Many people who don't normally like Gibson Pickups really likes the 59 T set they were considered as good and in some cases better than the 57s . They introduced the 59T set at the same time as the Burstbucker 61 set and they continued using the the 61 set but after 2015 the 59t set disappeared. They resurfaced a couple of years ago as the stock pickups on the wildwood spec USA standard 50s les Paul's but the wildwood spec ones don't sound as good as the 2014/15 versions as Wildwood had them wound 10 to 15 percent underwound and now they are way too bright and shrill sounding . They were already quite bright without being too bright. They were already an underwound Pickup usually measuring between 7.6k and 7.8k with an A2 magnet so they were already mellow low output pickups but they had a little extra bite and clarity as they have unbalanced coils with more windings on the Slug coil.

Booth LP‘s where out of tune. They have instantly noticed than and stoped playing chords and started with soloing cause it’s easier to compensate it with your bendings. Just a shame to put out of tune guitars into a promo video 🤦‍♂️

the original members left Santa Cruz and now there's just archie and some new members. Taz the original drummer is playing in lost society now and the original bass player middy is playing in bodom after midnight and jhonny the original guitarist is producing different music.
