Good to see you’re still drawing… I use to watch your vids: I just wanted to say: ty for the tutorials…. One tutorial that stood out was you drawing a Buddha….. now let me inspire you Mark crilley please look at Thailand art, Indian art, Japanese art, and Chinese art. If you notice, they actually use a bunch of squares, circles, triangles, patterns to create a huge picture….. I also recommend mandalas and zunis and South American art…… thinking of it now… there’s some art in Africa to….. I miss art 250 sometimes…

In my own experience, I kind of stepped away from realistic drawing and started doing manga like stuff. When I recently went back (about a year later) I think my results for a realistic portrait were much better than last year’s drawing of a similar face. So simply learning to use your hands and control a pencil is important.

I can’t help but wonder how often he sharpens his pencil….I guess knowledge about art subjects helps even if you have some more natural ability.

I watched you everyday growing up learning to draw. I’m an adult now and don’t really draw anymore but I like rewatching your videos. Brody’s ghost is still on my bookshelf to this day. Great work

I find that the older the video is, the better quality it is. they're not too worried about getting views, they're just trying to help. the fact that the length is longer really lets you absorb all the details of the video.
