3 rd time listening. Great series. I have to chuckle though when the narrator says Lucas’ full name. Sounds like a boxing or WWE announcer 😂 “Hailing from Tallamaeus , Greece, in this corner , LUKAS…..LAZLOS…….MICHLOS!!!” Sorry. Just my weird sense of humor.

Oh my word! I forgot about Hannah being written horribly too, as if no woman on the planet is capable of logic or following orders! LaHaye and Jenkins have absolutely zero respect for women. They wouldn't write every female character the same pissy, stupid way if they perceived women otherwise.
I am NOT a feminist, but I find the writing of the women in this series cartoonish and condescending. LaHaye and Jenkins seem to think that the only way a woman can be "strong" is for her to be willful and argumentative. All of them, minus Amanda, make willfully, colossally stupid choices repeatedly. If it was only Hattie, okay fine. We all know one of those. But Chloe is written terribly as well. The dialog with Annie is stupid. And don't get me started on Leah and her obnoxious combativeness and demanding anything. I found nothing Godly in the portrayal of these women. I truly enjoy these books though, not for the actual "rapture" myth because since when are God's people spared trials? But, the faith and spelling out of the End of the Age is so well done.

thank you. I was searching on youtube for the home alone audio book, and came across this. it's a bit different from the movie, but not by much. some of it may have been the extras that weren't in the movie, as I know there were parts that weren't added in, but this was great, so thanks again

I read and loved these books as a kid. Now I’m adult and an atheist and I still love these books lol.
Love the Messages in general, even though there's lot of artistic interpretations 'n liberties taken, it is no biggie if ones already doctrinally stable. Besides I can sincerely write I've learned alot too. At 76 yrs. old, one can never say , we can't learn enough. That's one reason I learn more from the younger and middle generation...

☆💥☆- While Basili (valet/servant) drives Plank to the center to apply for the "loyalty facilityEnforcer; Plank's semi/humorous/witness with Vasily about the 'mark' brings a question to how the doctrine of 'permanent punishment of damnation' to individuals who've taken the 'mark' and confess their error of receiving the 'mark'; is repentance 'n forgiveness still possible? How will the Lord's mercy be considered applicable under the umbrella of "His judgment" if according to the motives 'n intents of the hearts of each have shown remorse? Will Jesus's blood 'n death cover these errors also?

We're listening to this at the church in our Women's Bible Study right now. This is so good and makes me want to share this with others. So scarry for those who will be left behind.

They worry about bodies all over, no worries....bacteria, bugs and animals will clean up. Within a month, cholera and plagues will remove survivors. Even bunker wealthy will be gone.

6:17:00 A Comical scheme was discussed to escape between(valet/servant) Basili 'n Steve...but instead Steve stood in the shortest line in which he was the only one. As he was applying for the guillotine, Steve literally freaked Ginger out because he didn't have any body-part to embed the required AC Mark. Which Steve used as opportunity to deride the AC why he wouldn't even TAKE the AC compulsory mark even if he had... its was a riot of ridicule that earned him the penalty of DEATH... Quel testimony of courage for Steve before his graduation to heaven. ...which I'm almost certain Jesus made his death (promotion) painless, hallelujah!!!
7:56:45 -Robert. S. - not sure, but I would give God some latitude; Remember, Salvation is by grace, it's a work of God 'n Jesus, 'n definitely God is NOT going to allow man's weaknesses or 'blunder of the mind' or 'thoughtless' behavior hinder a soul to enter into the KOG, or gain eternal life? I think NOT. However I agree, as Christians we should ALL BE a Sample NOT just a SERMON. CiAo

I have found some of these are more action packed than the early books.

I see a lot of posts about the dialect. If you find the one from seven months ago, it is from another reader and so much better.
When the sinners die do they get an explanation of the truth or to they get right to the torture and damnation? I just imagined a demon clerk in a tie shuffling them in for processing "alright I'm jason, welcome to hell. So as it turns out the Christian is were in fact correct. We have a brief informational video to explain the whole story before we get you to you assigned torments. No cutting in line, any sins committed before processing will be used against you. And no point arguing your way to heaven. All the best lawyers end up here on our side. And again, welcome to hell"

I found Left Behind thru a book club and was so enamored i could not put it down! The first 4 books were in paperback at that time. I ran through those and begain waiting with baited breath for the each book was published after that. I read through number eight and decided to wait until the series was completed. Once i had all the books , i started over with vokume 1. I recently came across the audio verion on KZbin and was so excited. I have now begun listening to them from the beginning. OnlybGon could have inspired these two to write rhese books!
