Wow, that’s pretty fantastic. Incredible to listen to it now, at the start of 2024. Hard to fight the suspicion that we may be on the cusp of the end times ourselves right now. I’m sure every generation of Christians has wondered the same thing. But now, with these events, with technological capability, with the governments of the world obviously working in concert to serve some sort of central power… it’s hard not to suspect that this really could be the time. But who knows? It’s on God’s schedule, not man’s, and certainly not mine.

I was raised Christian off and on throughout my life ive had times when i went to church trying to be a "Christian " i never really got off on it hard as i tried to 2 weeks ago i woke up thinking about religion i looked all over the house for a bible to no avail I drove to Walmart and got one Since ive been reading and studying 3 times a day i cant put the bible down and for the first time i understand what im reading im even going to church I pray this continues

@@robertneville2022 that is wonderful to hear. I have personally been a Christ follower my entire life and I have only recently started understanding the Bible more fully. And I’m 65! I have found that if I pray before I read and I ask the Lord to make His word known, It makes a huge difference. Even when you are reading something you don’t understand, often you will read something in another part of the Bible that makes it clear. And start at the beginning and read it in order. You might also like reading the ESV translation. It’s easier to understand while still being true to the original translations. We are living in a dark world and I believe the Bible is the only thing that keeps me from being consumed by the darkness.

I know that this series is a combination of Biblical truth and great fiction and that not everyone agrees with it doctrinally, but the one thing it does without question or argument is to present the gospel of salvation through clearly, concisely and with complete Biblical truth. I have grown so attached to the characters in this series that I have read it over 15 times. This series has given me a renewed passion for Bible study and I am grateful to the authors for bringing end times prophecy to life.

@@lillamy2896 none of that is in the New Testament. Anything about slaves in slavery in the Old Testament. And we do not go by that anymore. In the New Testament it says the hola a.k.a. the Old Testament was nailed to the cross with Christ. It is simply a reference in many ways. You could read the New Testament by itself and get everything you need to know about salvation and being saved. There are good stories in the Old Testament that are examples of being saved in miracles. But, slavery is not even a part of a new word a.k.a. the New Testament. It says he who has ears let him here. He who has eyes let him see. Only someone truly seeking salvation and saving will be able to hear and understand the truth of the Bible. It will confound everyone else.

Before you start on the next book, take time to pray and ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes and heart to His truth. That’s the way we should start before getting ready to read the Bible as well. Not trying to take the word of God as words on a page, but words that have been inspired by the Most High God Himself! Be blessed.

I enjoyed the movies only because they put faces on the characters that I had read about. But the movies, as with any movie made based on a book, didn’t cover enough to get a full picture - especially since there are so many books in the series. And I’m sure they were poorly made because of budget constraints. Anyway, continue reading and tell us what you think.

I have the book series and some of the other books that Tim LaHaye has written, but my eyes have gotten so bad that reading frustrates me so I would much rather get them on audiobook. It’s just really hard to find the whole series in order. Others either read too fast or the inflection in their voice is wrong...they sound like they're reading instead of TELLING the story, if that makes sense. Anyway, this was absolutely the best!!!

Much of Real Scriptural events are shrouded in the invisible, mysterious walls. Even if it seems unreasonably incomprehensible as many film. I actually loved it. Inspite of the obvious errors I learnt alot, and applaud its literal excellency...most unusual. Jesus said there wa 3:20:53 s much He had to say; to unfold and to reveal, yet His disciples were unable to understand because they were not ready to receive (understand) even through Faith. Even though many are difficult to grasp, many many sincere Christians are willing to miscontruse, spin, interpret what they want to see; of course by the assistance of their leadership without even researching what they are given. Unlike many of the early brethren were diligently studying and willing to stay open and rightly dividing the truth. More importantly ready to expand, build on or even correct any misunderstanding or errors during their efforts to rightly dividing the truth sincerely. I think this is one of these films categorize in the "seals of God's secret domain" . It's a matter of "believe or NOT" by your own choice. But when You folks become wise and humble and you'll be led to the greater picture.I Believe there are innumerable ideas which are not exactly right, but I shall remain quiet. Read on... As for why the film industry is allowed to produce these and many so-called "science fiction or paranormal films?!? IDK. Or I kinda think its also in "God is in perfect Control"- sphere. And He knows when to unseal His sealed revelations just as He kept Daniel's revelations sealed over a couple of thousand years and has finally opened the real meaning unbeknownst to majority of the Christians. Is this shocking!?! Not really. But what is shocking is how many of God's spiritual children are so prideful and arrogant and have twisted and spun some of the simplest Truths into unbelievable LIES. I think when His children are judged, humbled and ready to listen, He will reveal even more. I think most of God's judgment will befall on His children severely and the unbelievers will receive His judgment in proportion according to each in His wisdom and mercy. Argue all you want; but before you do... Reread Matthew 23, Jeremiah 1-7. And then blah, blah-away. Ciao

This is my first time listening to this story. I’m curious however what people’s thoughts on the rapture pre or during tribulation.. I’m getting closer to 40 the last couple years have made me start to think. That being said I understand this is a story and no substitute for actually reading the Bible. But this just captures my imagination and I find it enjoyable. The Bible seems very cryptic and hard to follow at times. Not looking for answers just looking for opinions, because no one knows for a fact.

5/9/2022: We do “know for a fact”. GOD’s word is TRUE. People have long had “opinions” about the Rapture ( pre, mid, post, pan or no Rapture ). Lets put it like this: TIME has a way of proving ALL things. There will come a day when THE RAPTURE will happen and there will not be five different views on the issue. Remember, we are not “saved” ( accepted by GOD ) based on our opinion, view/stand on the Rapture. We are “saved” bcz we have placed our complete faith/trust in JESUS and what HE did for us. Oh, by the way, I hold the PRE- view ( Rapture BEFORE GOD’s wrath on a CHRIST rejecting world). If you hold an opposing view on this subject, we do NOT have to be vicious, mean-spirited or nasty toward each other as so many are...even to the point of saying that we are not saved if we hold the pre wrath rapture view. I have never seen saints so vile toward the pre view than it has been these past 20-30 yrs. In the past, ppl would just not even talk about it. I think most of us did not think that we would even be alive to see what we see, hear and experience today. One day I decided that I would do my own homework and take my STAND - I did and the PRE view is the only view that make any sense to me. The Gospel message is spot on. We all debate on the pretribulation and post tribulation rapture, old and young Earth. I have a great video to look up on Geology speaking to the young Earth. Look for a two hour video from Kurt Wise here on youtube. Its really good and also explains why the Himalaia Mountains are as tall as they are and also why we see what looks like layers of sand, rock, and layers of minerals like coal, gold, diamonds. Kurt is a Geologist that makes learning about his subject actually fun and interesting.

HE could call us home right now, but HE is giving the unsaved opportunity to run to HIM. The LORD is NOT slack with HIS promises to come and rescue HIS children, but is longsuffering, with the world, NOT WILLING THAT ANY PERISH, but that ALL come to REPENTANCE. I read the series almost completely when I was much younger, probably still in highschool so about 15 years ago. I believe now that when the rapture happens Yeshua, as he should be called since he was Hebrew, will take the Church with him and this includes the holy spirit. If he was giving those left behind another chance then what would be the point? You would have people thinking that if they miss the rapture they can just get saved after.

The idea of a rapture is only one man-made attempt to discern scripture. Christ never taught to focus on his return or a rapture. Think about that first. Next, we as humans like to box ideas and limit them. God does not. He allowed sin to enter his creation. Why? Because it was part of his plan of freewill. You state God rapturing his people then allowing the remaining to come to him is not sensical, but it is biblical. In Revelations Peter lays out a similar plan during the thousand year rule of Christ. God therefore is not limited to our level of understanding nor our limited compassion. On this Easter day of all days, he let Christ die on the cross so he could raise Jesus to life as a sign of greater power and glory than any man or fallen angel could possess. The death, a sign of the finality of physical life and wages of sin. The resurrection, the sign of God's plan in action that we will not spiritually be forsaken. Be of good joy and hope, for he has risen and so will all the dead in Christ and the faithful, and all those left behind shall too be risen and judged with the mercy of our God rather than the rags of human compassion which condemns out of sin. You see, Satan would even at the last moment desire to snatch God's creation(man) away from victory in Christ. This is because he knows God can do this for man. But he, Satan, will never receive such grace. The power of God is unbound, do not place it in any box for that only places ourself in a box shut away from the fullness in Jesus Christ.

@@mycarolinaskies you're also celebrating Easter on a day that is man made. Ishtar or Easter as it is celebrated today was put in place of a pagan holiday celebrating spring and fertility. It was allowed to adopt the pagan symbold and rituals without fault. Which is why it has infiltrated mainstream Christianity and it's churches. His name is Yeshua and he does not agree with this. He is risen but his death and resurrection have nothing to do with a pagan god of fertility. What I said is that Yeshua will come back for his bride, the church and the holy spirit. There will not be a holy spirit to convict people to come to him or to repent. It will not be so easy to come to Christ after the rapture that is very much biblical. I am not putting God in a box, I have done the research.

Hi I believe the point is those left behind will need to go through the tribulation: which will include demons, zombies, fallen angels, tribes of men, cannibals, human meat 🍖 markets, new world order police, beasts of the earth etc. Basically hell on earth. Jesus has said this will bring mankind to the brink of extinction. Their will be an end time church at this time performing miracles like Jesus. I'd recommend Ken Peters I saw the tribulation. Why do people who don't believe, wish to waste their time looking up things, books, shows, movies, etc about God just to say "i don't believe"? It seems kind of comical. They are as bad, as the so called 'bible thumpers' they mock. I don't understand why it angers them so much. If you dislike it, and don't wish to hear it, then why on earth did you go so out of your way to seek it out? Seems to me at some level, you do believe if you care so very much to look for it, just to complain. They don't complain about other religions and I've seen tons of those of Muslim faith sharing quotes from the Quran in comments, just like the Christians. Same goes for the Wiccans, I have seen them also blessing others in comments. It just seems to me they ARE seeking it out, and are in denial of it. They go out of their way to debate with Christians, yet, if they so hated it as they claim, would they not avoid it as much as possible? Perhaps they do believe, deep down but feel jaded. Or feel silly or frustrated... maybe they think God doesn't love them, because they think he should love them a specific way, they have in mind. I hope they find the answers they seek, despite the anger and resentment they feel.

There are 12 books in this series. Amy has posted them. Plus there is Kingdom Come and some prequels too (posted by others). Check out Left Behind series (12 books) and Left Behind Kids (6 books) in audiodrama. Just finished Kids, pretty good too. However, I like these unabridged versions best. The next book in Amy's postings is Tribulation Force. Enjoy!

I've read a lot of people saying they love this and the narrator. This guy is pretty good. . but there are actually 2 others narratied by Frank Muller which is my all time fav. The only downside.. is his is the abridged version which it doesn't leave anything important out. But it's on 3 hours .. very short. It just leaves out minimal conversation that don't have any merit on the story. Until the 5 or 6th book where he does the unabridged version. Where Richard Ferone had read the unabridged versions and stopped for a few books. But they are soooo much better and this guy mispronounced quite a few names and different things. I'm assuming that's why they have a whole different set of unabridged versions. This guy is Jack Stafford or something.. but it has alot of dialogue that isn't in the other dialogue. That's why I'm listing to this . I actually am re listening to the series that my grandmother has always wanted to listen to. So I'm listening to this and the other unabridged version and. .. the abridged version on hoopla free thru my library. Just to see the differences lol.. guess u could say I love this series

Most of rev is taking place during the rapture. You have to read through dispensations, the apostles were apart of the law, we living in the time of Gods grace so we "don't HAVE to suffer for our salvation" Jesus did that on the cross. I believe the fifth seal is referring to those few that will find salvation during the tribulation...

@@sherrieflynn6213 you mis-took what I said, the Bible is layered out in dispensations. The apostles , yes saved by the grace of God, were still apart of the "law" dispensation. We (after Jesus was crucified) are in the "grace" dispensation. Yes we have trials and tribulations 1 Peter 1:7 but they strengthen us, the original question was in reference to the suffering of those in the tribulation a dispensation of salvation not only through faith but appointed suffering. The fifth seal (rev 6:9-11) is regarding the "last of HIS children specifically rev 6:11. We are not protected from suffering in the Grace period, BUT we are not APPOINTED to suffer due to faith and salvation... that's why I made a point to mention it all "dispensationaly".
