I know you uploaded this video months and months ago, but I saved it and only got around to watching it now. Thanks for the detailed itinerary, you have given me a lot of tips on what to do when I am there apart from the usual touristy stuff. I have been to Paris once on a layover but I only had time to go from the airport into the city in the morning and check out the Notre Dame from the outside (it was before the fire). And then I had to go back to catch my plane so I don't really count it in. I moved to Germany not long ago and we have the TGV going through my city on the way to Paris, so I am planning on going there sometime soon. BUt not nowadays bcs there will be A TON of people there due to the Olympics, no way in hell am I going there at this time. :D I am all about the museums, unfortunately I am THAT gal, who will spend the whole day in the Louvre HAHA, I spent 3 days going through the MET when I was in New York too, so... So sorry you had to leave Versailles bcs of the damn bombthreat. :( That jazz club looked awesome!

@@sarahlynnirving If this is all about YOU finding a new place, why not say what YOU might be paying for things other than rent. That's a very important thing to know. Viewers are smart. They can then approximate based on your particular situation. It seems a major point of the video is describing what moving to a new place (whether it be you or someone else) is going to cost. Nobody rents without knowing those add-on things I mentioned. And if if you don't have a car you could say but if I did parking would be..... since clearly the subtext of this video is the viewer projecting themselves. Maybe next tinme. Having said all that, with the exception of what you left out, this is a well-done and a effective resource. It remains interesting to me in any event how a landlord or subletter showing a nice apartment seem to ber pretty okay with the place looking like it hasn't been straightened up in a month or so, if ever.

Ha! I'm over a decade out and just got this video in my feed! Being an SJC alum is a REALLY interesting experience. The program is at once the most useful and the most useless accomplishment. The few people who might understand it are few and far in between. My recommendation: do the program and study specialized subjects on the side or over the Summers. Know what your ideal vocation is so that you can be prepared upon graduation!
