Your apartment is really pretty and personal. I love it! The bedroom would be really cozy with some full length drapery panels. Leave them open so you still get that great light. But I bet you would feel like it was finished if you only added that. You've done a great job.

Omg omg omg this is BANANAS I literally just signed a lease for an apartment in this building (if I recognize it correctly). You have decorated it like my frickin dream apartment, this is so cool!!!! The apartment looks great. I would suggest just putting a table runner on your dining room table. It will make it look more interesting and add another layer and texture to the dining room. I may have missed it, but did you do anything in the corner when you walk in? If not, try putting that marble table from the bedroom there and adding a mirror and a shelf for keys. Just a couple of suggestions.

I know this building. I was looking at apartments online and saw the studio and one bedrooms. I absolutely love the lobby. I love the old world charm. My bestie lives in Manayunk so I'm considering that area also but the apartments in her area seem newer. I've read reviews for your building and it seems to house quite a few medical interns and students. I'm older so looking for a quieter vibe but this building is so me, I'm still considering it.

The little garbage chute is called a dumb waiter, iirc.

A dumb waiter is more of a chute/moves up and down. This is just a door, it opens into the hallway so back when the building was a hotel the maid could pick up trash without entering your room 😊
