I'm pushing 88 Yrs. and some of these cars I have owned when I was young. I loved them then and still love them. I remember drag racing my 37 ford coupe with a v 60 V8 engine. The engine was so small one guy could pick it up out of the engine compartment lol. I also owned a Frazer that looked like an upside down bath tub. A 41 chevie coupe , a 51 ford hardtop, a 50 ford, 48 ford club coupe, 48 and a 47 plymouth. Those were the good old ays and I sure miss them.

@davem6685 with the large crowds of people and silent electric golf carts it makes it dangerous. So that's why it's an unwritten rule at Hershey to do so.

Hi, I was watching your latest vlog, and at the end you were showing the parts you bought. And you kept saying the words advance design, you named a lot of parts like that. I was wondering what makes a part an advance design? I have never heard of that before. Thanks Mark
@DolloffAntiques3 күн бұрын
@markmcclenaghanirish23 that is a term used for 1947-1954 era GM trucks. In 1947 was a huge advance or improvement from the older 1946 style hence the name Advanced Design given by GM at that time. Thanks for watching!

@CAROLDDISCOVER-20255 күн бұрын
@alexander1485 how about 60x 150 ft building 🏫. Maybe you're playing that you will get to yours one day one day one day . I myself have been selling them off. But even if I just let them sit around and wrote It's my prerogative. I own them. About 15 years ago I sold an old station wagon that was in the family for up to 50 years at the time. I was the fourth generation. Probably come off the frame. My grandfather my dad and even me had hundreds of times we could have sold it. You know the people with their hands out saying well you're never going to do anything with it you might just give it to me. Cuz they really don't want to pay anything for it. So for all those offers of 100 to $800 we literally got thousands of dollars out of that car. So they can put that in the tail pipe and smoke it. I don't know what people think. But there's an overabundance of projects available out there unless you want a Mopar. I watch somebody wishes shell with two door 57 coupe about a week ago. You just have to know where to find them. yeah I kind of figured your comment was derogative and directed towards me. But remember that your mama say watch where you point your finger cuz you got 3 more pointing back at you. Didn't your Daddy tell you, Lord knows where your thumb is sticking up into. I may have underestimated the size of the building it's been awhile. Not to mention the other places around a few hundred mile radius. Say rest is not necessary enemy. It's the lack of get up and go to go find these vehicles. Then somebody comes to me I sell one for a decent price compared to other folks but I still make money 💰. It's more like adopting out. I make sure they're going someplace where they'll get put into use as a project or parts for a project. Now if your statement was directed towards itself, there's help out there for you. I've literally told people were hundreds of different cars are located free of charge. Didn't make a dime off either way the seller or the buyer. I'm an old car guy heart.

Back in the 80s and 90s up to 2003, I used to go to this market every Sunday. I found a lot of great items back then. I checked this market out last year when I went out on vacation. Not what it was, but there was still some decent items. I have seen what Brimfield has become, and for what I collect, it is not worth going to anymore. Schupps Grove in Adamstown went away, but last year it was back operational. Black Agnus up the street from Rennigeers has really dropped. Outside was gone when I was there and only one building with only part of it had dealers. Unfortunately now, I live in Arizona, and not much out my way. Thanks for doing this video, sure brought back many memories!
