Dang….I started going to this swap meet and the two day one they have(had?) in June wayyyyy back in the late eighties till the late nineties! Damn near drown in one when a nasty thunderstorm hit and flooded the field where my tent was floating! Bought and sold a lot of stuff and occasionally made a few bucks! The Internet kinda killed it off so I quit going. Had ‘Big Gray’ my ‘67 3/4 ton 4x4 on 35s with a snappy sbc 350 got surprisingly decent gas mileage at 60 mph! Had my dog Turbo a German shepherd/Wolf mix along, he lived to go, even in the rain!!

Good Stuff Mate i will be keen to do a big car sale swap meet in mid 2025 to buy a car around $35k.. I am from Australia. GM vehicles and pickups not needing much work. I am concerned with east coast cars and cars from areas that use salt or cars that have floors welded up. Thanks Mate steve

Swap meets were great 20 years ago- 2024 not so much......
