Would you know if the x and xo are somewhat more quiet? And would you say that the Xo is a better trimmer overall than the x or mo? Currently the difference in price is about $20 on Amazon. They are also charging $75 at Andis for out of warranty repairs. Wahl literally charges $30 flat. I did find a local technician that will charge $50. Andis I think is definitely losing market share to other brands.

Look at the trustpilot reviews it’s shocking! i also have bad experience with them. Their customer service is terrible and your left stuck with money wasted products that you can’t return. Please be careful when purchasing don’t say I didn’t warn you

Thank you, just got mine kemei 2293 and unfortunately it’s useless, rpm is almost 5300 and it’s 5w, very weak in cutting and marking and not sharp at all. Bought it in Egypt.

I’m keeping it on station for kids. But it just doesn’t hit. We tell tpob about it and he just does what he does and deflect and talk shit. Talking about zero gapping. I don’t want to zero gap it I want it to cut hair. But since u mentioned Evo mine I had was super loud.

Great review as usual. I enjoy hearing your thoughts on things. My two favorite shavers are the: 1. FX3 for a double foil 2. UVFoil for a single foil (Only in matte black) They both have Lithium-ion batteries which should be standard in the 2020’s. They also don’t have a mirror finish which keeps them looking clean. The FoilFX01 takes AA batteries which is inconvenient. The FoilFX02 has a built in Ni-Mh battery - which is substantially worse than a Lithium-ion battery. I would never buy one again because of the outdated battery tech, shiny mirror finish, and the overall heft. I think the FoilFX01 and FoilFX02 are very outdated in 2025. They should ALL be updated with USB-C charging, a matte finish, and a Lithium-ion battery. Now, the FX3 has a matte plastic finish, a Lithium-ion battery, and a four light indicator which is perfect for a double foil shaver. It’s also very lightweight and powerful. The original gunmetal UVFoil has a terrible fingerprint mirror finish, but the matte black version fixes this. Regardless, it comes with a Lithium-ion battery and USB-C charging making it an excellent flagship for 2025. Just my $0.02

I’ve gotten three red lopro fx one and they’re all garbage , rattle , so loud it’s unbareable can’t zero gap , thing is so bad .

Maybe there is a mod with Elite Clipper Mods...to put the Psycho blade on it

I like it. It’s strong, it’s quiet. Great for kids or mustaches and setting neck lines back and front , good for designs. Also good for setting in the bald line for low fades. And good for trimmer over comb . I gapped mines as much as I could and my shit cuts good. He also just dropped the wide blade on USA site. Called “softy” Which it is. They are a soft set trimmer. Although it’s a soft trimmer it’s not meant to bald out like that. People just dnt grasp what the purpose of it is for. People that’s dnt like the small blade just arnt the type to do very detailed lines and shit, they dnt have the finger nd hand control in my opinion to use it properly. Also to make it “hit” as these new barbers would say, take the blade to your local sharpener get it sharpened how all blades should be. And modify the back of it to be flatter on the teeth. But then the same people that’s say it doesn’t hit won’t be able to handle the sharpness of the modification . I already modified mine , going to get a second one and have it stock for kids and stuff.then might get a third and put the wider blade on it and use it strictly for balding out and clipper over comb. Also there is a modification out there you can buy to slap the psycho and crazy blade on it. I’m personally not a fan of any of those style blades or babyliss blades. Although the crazy blade and the blue fx trimmer blades are the 2 best blades that style and build.

I’m looking for trimmer that doesn’t snag under the beard and gives crispy lineups under the beard, I haven’t found one close to the saber and goblin trimmer. I sold my goblins & the sabers are my coworker. You recommend these to get the job done on cleaning under the beard ?

Best trimmer I've used so far I have to give it to the black fx one trimmer nothing touching that trimmer. And I was using flex, and instinct trimmer.

I am looking into buying a Jrl trimmer blade to fit on my play trimmer instead. Do you happen to know if it will fit?

I’ve only been using mine for kids and mustaches. I’ve noticed the pencil blade “tickles” less when trimming/lining peoples mustaches compared to other blades. They have also been good for “rough drafts” on designs before going in and sharpening up lines with the M-Force. I’m very curious about the new Softy blade that’s up on the TPOB site now.

This is why we need a brushless M Force slimline, and a little something that I have created that goes with a clip you added in this video! :)

Elite clipper mods make a bracket to where you can put the krazy blade or psycho blade on it and they become hitters and since it’s a lower rpm they don’t irritate the skin at all been using it for a week with absolutely no issue
